Moving praise filled the Main Sanctuary during the second half of "The Friday All-night Service" on December 1, 2006. In early spring of 2005, Yong-gil Huh, who had worked in China as music teacher and assistant professor in China, came to his motherland he had long desired to visit. An atheist at the time, he was evangelized and joined Manmin Joong-ang Church. "Because I loved music so much, I first began attending church just to hear and watch the choirs and praise teams sing. But I began understanding the Senior Pastor's messages little by little and after witnessing firsthand the signs and wonders with my own eyes and experiencing them, I had no choice but to acknowledge the Living God." Precisely according to his confession, there was an opportunity through which Huh was able to experience the Living God. Three days before competing in a Korean Broadcasting System-sponsored music contest, a spark from a welding work at his job went into his eyes. The pain in the cornea prevented him from getting any sleep for two nights and tears kept streaming down his face. That is when Huh remembered God's power manifested through Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee. "Nothing is impossible before You! God, please heal my eye!" After earnest prayer, he fell asleep. When Huh got up, he realized God had made his eye as perfect as new. On top of that, Huh entered the contest and came away with the Grand Prize. After these events, Huh quit drinking and is today leading a blissful life in Christ, ever more cognizant of God's love for him.
