Earnestly praying for mission work in Europe
Born in Sri Lanka, I had worked at a hotel since 1983 after moving to France to escape the violent activities of the anti-Tamil movement.
Then in 1990, when I visited my family living in India, I was preached the Gospel, began attending a Protestant church, and had the experience of being born of water and the Holy Spirit. Returning to France a year later, I was able to find with difficulty a Protestant church where I met my future wife Marie Uthayakumar.
As I was fluent in French, I was settling down in France by working at a government office and running a business of my own. Frustrated and heartbroken at the deteriorating state of Christianity in Europe, I felt broadcasting ministry in the Continent was critical. I founded a church in 1993 and began praying earnestly for the mission work in Europe.
Teeming grace at "The 2004 Germany Healing Festival with Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee"
Then one day in 2004, I watched a video CD of "The 2002 Miracle Healing Prayer Festival in India with Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee" given to me by one of the sisters in Christ. Watching magnificent performances on a massive stage, Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee's messages of life to the countless people gathered, and his manifestations of wondrous works of God's healing, I just marveled one person doing so much for God.
I called Manmin Joong-ang Church from the CD case, found out that there was a Manmin branch church in France, and that Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee was to conduct a crusade in Germany later that year. I chartered a bus with members of my church and attended "The 2004 Germany Healing Festival."
From the day before the kickoff of the Festival, God showed us a rainbow of His covenant and, although originally planned on attending only the first or the first two days of the Festival, we ended up staying for all three days after receiving marvelous grace at witnessing the works of God's wondrous power. When we spread the news of the works of God's power shared by those of us who had gone on a trip to Germany upon our return, the rest of the congregation became filled with the Holy Spirit and the membership of our church increased fourfold.
Founding the first Christian TV station in France
Staying in touch with Missionary Charonne Kang of France Manmin Church, I began learning in greater detail the ministry of Manmin Joong-ang Church and from the Festivals held in India and Germany, I became confident that the broadcasting ministry for which I had been praying. I started to seriously contemplate founding a television station that could have the maximum impact in spreading the Gospel. Starting a television station required a huge capital and my family and I sold in gladness and gratitude my home and business to prepare for the renting of the channel and the facility.
In February 2005, Holy God TV came into being.
Our first broadcast was "The 2002 Miracle Healing Prayer Festival in India with Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee" and I received positive feedback from the viewers, including one from a Tamil Indian family of seven confessing that all family members had accepted Jesus Christ. The broadcast first took place 30 minutes a week/day. By July, the channel was on around-the-clock and it was listed on "The Guinness World Records" as the first Tamil Christian television station. In 2006, our station was officially permitted to operate as the first Christian television station in France.
Airing GCN programs
Holy God TV reached an agreement with Manmin TV in 2006 and began broadcasting Global Christian Network (GCN) programs between 9:30 – 10:30 in the evening when the television viewership is the highest of the day.
During the week, we broadcast Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee's message series including "The Message of the Cross" and "The Beatitudes" that have exposed our viewers to tremendous grace. On weekends, we air "Testimony Concert," "The Spring of Wisdom," and "GCN Power Praise," all of which have made a great contribution in exposing to the French public the flair of Korean culture. On days we do not air any GCN problems, we even get complaint calls.
On top of this, we are leading many Muslims, who are unable to possess their own copies of the Bible, to Christ by airing the reading of a chapter of the Scripture every day.
Flooding testimonies put telephone lines out of order
Among the testimonies we receive, many of them are about God's healing the viewers have received from Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer. We get calls not only from France but also the Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.
One day, in the span of a second we received approximately 3,000 telephone calls simultaneously, effectively shutting down the lines. That more than sufficed to tell us the kind of viewership Holy God TV has.
This year, God has blessed us to move into a bigger and better studio.
Holy God TV is currently available to some 6 million people in more than 110 countries in Europe and the Middle East on cable and via the Hot Bird satellite, and I hope to spread the gospel of sanctification through a closer relationship with Manmin TV.

Watching Holy God TV from Italy, I had been aware of the news of Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee's manifestations of God's power. I had also made a request and received from Korea a handkerchief on which Rev. Dr. Lee had prayed (Acts 19:11-12).
On Monday, May 14, 2007, my wife Comporte complained of pain resulting from hernia. I immediately began praying for her with the handkerchief of God's power and the pain immediately disappeared. I am very grateful to report that she has been whole and well for the past 2 months.
Furthermore, when I prayed for my three-year-old son Debel who had been suffering from erythema with the handkerchief, all the redness disappeared within three days.
I was amazed and filled with joy at the same time when I received God's answers to my prayers with the handkerchief. As my family has experienced the living God and come to possess greater faith, this handkerchief has become an object from which we cannot part not even for a moment.
