On March 25, District, Sub-district, and Cell Leaders' Devotional Service 2018 was offered up during Sunday Evening Service. The whole church members are grouped according to their residence into three parishes: 1st Great Grand Parish (Parish 1 to 9), 2nd Great Grand Parish (Parish 10 to 21), and 3rd Great Grand Parish (Parish 22 to 32). And there are separately Chinese Parish (the group of Chinese-Koreans and Chinese people living in Korea), and Foreigners' Parish (Foreigners living in Korea). Each parish has district leaders, sub-district leaders, and cell leaders who numbered 1,650. They offered up the Service.
The devotional service was broadcast live on GCN and the Internet. Elder Haengcheol Shin, President of Male Sub-district Leaders' Association presided over the service, Senior Deaconess Heeseung Lee, President of Female Sub-district Leaders' Association gave representative prayer, and Deaconess Mikyung Kye, Cell Leader of Cheonan Manmin Church read the Scripture.
Dr. Jaerock Lee preached the message with the title of "The Heart of Love" based on Romans 5:8. He opened the message by saying that if we realize the love of God who saved us from sins, we will want to live in His will and deliver the love that we receive to others. Then, he explained the heart of love in three points: the heart to consider others better than ourselves, the heart to have mercy on others, and the heart to give everything to others.
The devotees were determined to serve even little ones, take care of souls with mercy and love of God, and bring them to life through sacrifice and devotion.
