"Thank you, Manmin!" Event

"Thank you, Manmin!" event is going on.
The titles of this event were 'The First Love' 'Thank You, my Lord,' for April and May. It is 'We Are Manmin' for June, of which the first title is 'How I am changed through Manmin'.
The writings of the church members express their love for God in each of the events. Some of those writings under the title 'How I am changed through Manmin' are introduced.
"I Realized True Meaning of Life"

In 1999, the church was on TV. It seemed there was a problem. It's the church my wife and children were attending, and I went to the church to find out what was really going on.
I thought I was doing my duty as the head of the family very well, providing for them and loving the children. After work, I'd enjoy going to a game or playing billiards and other entertainments with my co-workers. I also kept on reading, so I thought I was preparing for the future, too. I thought I was living a good life.
And the 1999 incident gave me a whole new perspective of the church and life. After I came to the church, God's word touched me. It was living. It made me realize my way of life was not right. It showed me the right way. What do we have to seek? It made me ask the fundamental question and gave me the clear answer.
It was to become a holy and true child of God. And this message was confirmed by the power of God manifested through Senior Pastor Rev. Jaerock Lee.
The 2002 Miracle Healing Prayer Festival held at Marina Beach in Chennai, India made me realize it wasn't done by any man's righteousness. The crusade let my faith increase by a great measure.
Now, I am an elder in the church. Of course, I did away with all the secular forms of entertainments. I think I am a decent head of the family now. I also won one of the book review contests of the Senior Pastor's books. After I came to Manmin, my life is overflowing with blessings in all aspects.
"The Lord Renewed Me"
Mija Choi (46, 12th Parish)
I was born the last of 6 siblings, and I was very self-centered. However, the Lord called me as His worker who loves and serves the souls.
I was weak and I relied on others all the time, but He changed me into a person who relies on God through prayers. I'd easily give up on many things but I've been transformed into a patient person through my trials.
I was introverted and not very social. However, I opened up to many people as I had fellowship with the good believers. Now we are all one family in the Lord that shares joys and sorrows and hold hands together in the Lord.
I used to be clumsy and make many mistakes. But as I do the usher's duty I learned good manners. I couldn't say a word in front of people but now I am in the cheering team for my team in the athletic meet of the summer retreat. I lacked confidence but now I dance and sing before God on the altar in the devotional services.
I felt music and singing was very difficult when I was a student, but I sang in the chorus teams and now I sing in the Golden Choir. I am so happy to praise God with singing.
I have a beautiful family in the Lord as well. My daughter plays the piano for Sunday School and is a member of a worship dance team. My son is a member of the Nazareth Choir and also plays the drums. My husband encourages them to work for God's kingdom.
Through the prayer of our Senior Pastor Rev. Jaerock Lee, my family was healed of kidney function failure, sinus infection, acute indigestion, Internet game addiction, and paroxysmal sympathetic hyperactivity. Above all, God is leading us to become the Lord's brides and live in New Jerusalem. I love you, Manmin!
