[Feature Story] For a Happy Christian Life in 2023

God gives the Helper the Holy Spirit as a gift to anyone who accepts Jesus Christ and receives the forgiveness of sins so that he can be saved, gain eternal life and enter into the kingdom of heaven. With the help of the Holy Spirit, it is never difficult to live a Christian life.
We can recover the image of God, which was lost due to the sin of first man Adam, and be born again as the true children who possess the sincere heart and perfect faith resembling the heart of the Lord. (Hebrews 10:22) It is because there is an easy way although the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life. (Matthew 7:14)
It says in Deuteronomy 30:11-14, “For this commandment which I command you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it out of reach… But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may observe it.” Hope it will be a year of blessing to take the most glorious city of Heaven, New Jerusalem, by force with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Let us have a clear goal in the Lord!
The goal in the Lord is not something vague. If we just follow the word of God, we will certainly achieve this goal. God is alive, and He repays us according to what we have done on this earth, and the kingdom of heaven certainly exists.
If people have a clear goal that they want to achieve and have confidence and hope about the things they will gain by achieving that goal, they will not hesitate to take the way with all their strength towards the goal no matter what they will go through.
Furthermore, if we have a clear goal of the city of New Jerusalem, the most glorious heaven, we will never feel it hard to keep God’s commandments.
If we clearly set this goal in our Christian life, we can go without difficulty. If we go step by step with faith, giving thanks for the love of the Lord who didn’t spare even His life to lead us to the eternal Heaven, we will eventually reach the goal.
Let us go towards the goal without change of mind.
This changing of the mind is such a great obstacle in a Christian life. If you don’t have the mind to give up or change, your Christian life will be never difficult.
If you have hope for the best kingdom of heaven, you will cast off the untruth in your heart in order to resemble the heart of the Lord. On the other hand, if you put your heart in the world and pursue the worldly things, you will find it difficult to live in the truth.
We feel a Christian life is hard and difficult because we have the desire to give up in the middle and change our attitudes. So, if you just cast away this one thing, the changing mind, a Christian life will be so much easier. You will be able to cast away others sins very easily as well.
Once you rid yourself of the changing attitude and desire to give up, the thought itself that it’s hard to go on will disappear. And you can be quickly changed by the power and strength given from God above.
Let us be joyful and happy going towards the goal!
We are happy to live a Christian life because we have the goal of entering the city of New Jerusalem, the most glorious place in heaven. However, when the untruth in our heart is discovered, or because we don’t really want to throw away the untruth, it is difficult to live a life of faith.
If you truly believe in the fact that you will achieve your goal and come closer to the city of New Jerusalem by discovering and throwing away the untruth, you can cast off the untruth joyfully and happily.
Therefore, if the untruth of the heart is discovered, throw it away quickly, and if many things are found to be thrown away, you should be happier. Since untruth is useless anyway, you should cast it off, and as much as you cast off the untruth, your Christian life will be easier and happier.
If you truly believe in God’s love, it is not difficult to discover and cast off your sins, and it is a joyful and happy thing to achieve sanctification by resembling the Lord.
