Elements that served as the detonator in the Taiwanese Church Leaders' Seminar held at Manmin Joong-ang Church were Dr. Jaerock Lee's published works and DVD's depicting his manifestations of God's power. After receiving grace from his books and the DVD's, more than four scores of church leaders and workers visited Korea to learn the secrets to church revival in Taiwan.
Among the visitors, Ezra Ting, President of Grace Publishing Company, had first visited Manmin Joong-ang Church in May 2003 to attend "The Two-week Special Revival Meeting," received teeming grace, and ended up publishing Dr. Lee's most widely-known works including Tasting Eternal Life Before Death, The Message of the Cross, The Measure of Faith, Heaven I and II, Hell, and The Power of God. He has since reported that these works were very popular among the readers.
"One of the customers purchased 200 copies of Heaven I," said President Ezra Ting, "and said he hoped his relatives and friends would come to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and enter heaven." "An elder," Mr. Ezra Ting added, "purchases five copies of Hell each time he comes to our store and says, 'I preach the Gospel with this book, which so thoroughly has depicted the awful reality of hell, to make sure that people will not end up there.'"
Mr. Ezra Ting also observed that the most recent publication, The Power of God, is also very popular and as it teaches and stresses that the kind of God's power manifested during Biblical times can take place even today, and thus allows the readers to experience God's power themselves.
More than 1,500 copies of "Holy, Holy, Holy," a compilation album produced by the Nissi Orchestra, have been sold, according to Mr. Ezra Ting, and the demand from the listeners of a Christian radio program for the album had flooded the phone lines at the station.
"I was very moved by 'Heavenly Melody,' which is composed by Conductor Kwan-hyung Cho of the Nissi Orchestra," said Mr. Ezra Ting. "The piece has even been played by Maurice Scholar, one of the most famous violinists in the Taiwan Conferences."
Mr. Ezra Ting also shared a testimony of one of his employees, who received God's healing while editing one of Dr. Lee's books.
"Because of depression, one of our employees had been unable to sleep well, to motivate himself, and found himself always complaining. While editing Tasting Eternal Life Before Death, however, he came to realize that the magnitude of torment Dr. Jaerock had experienced from his illnesses before meeting with God was not comparable to his own suffering. He soon transformed his heart and his mind, and was quickly healed of depression. From that point on, he's since become a motivating and an exemplary coworker and peer within the company."
Mr. Ezra Ting is ambitious about his work in Taiwan. Instead of publishing books that will sell well in a country where only 3-5% of its population is Christian, Mr. Ezra Ting wishes to publish works that are filled with life.
