Romans 15:18-19
"For I will not presume to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me, resulting in the obedience of the Gentiles by word and deed, in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit."

Some people demand, "Show me God, and I will believe." Yet, God is Spirit, and thus He cannot be seen with our eyes. Instead, God reveals the evidence so that people can believe in Him. The evidence is none other than miraculous works performed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
1. What is the power of the Holy Spirit?
About 2,000 years ago, when Jesus the Son of God came to this earth, He performed amazing works of God's power that were impossible with men. In John 14:11, Jesus tells us to "Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves." Countless miracles Jesus performed were the clear evidence to help them believe in Him.
Also, God reveals the evidences of the living God through men of God who are proper in the sight of God. Mark 16:17-18 tell us that, "These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." And Mark 16:20 also observes, "And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed."
2. Miraculous signs and wonders performed by the power of the Holy Spirit
Power does not indicate just 'healing diseases'. By the gift of healing, various diseases resulting from viruses, germs or bacteria are healed. The power of God heals not only diseases, but also infirmities and disabilities. Infirmities are indicated by lameness, blindness, deafness, muteness, infantile paralysis and the like.
Some are born with disability, and some others have parts of their body degenerated or paralyzed during their growth. Simple diseases may be healed with medical treatment but infirmities with disability cannot be healed with human ability. It can be healed with nothing but the power of God. These powerful works of God happen through the Holy Spirit today.
Among those miraculous works of the Holy Spirit, what is outstandingly seen is called "Miraculous Signs." Burns are healed, decaying skin is recovered, the blind come to see, the deaf begin to hear and the lame come to walk and jump throwing away crutches and wheelchairs. Also, the power of the Holy Spirit performs wonders. Wonders here indicate controlling and changing the weather. For instances, the power of the Holy Spirit makes rain stop, clouds move, or windy waves calm down. It changes the direction of typhoon or causes it to be gone. And with the power of God rainbows appear in a clear cloudless sky.
3. Countless works of the power of the Holy Spirit
Wherever I conducted crusades, I have testified to my message with miraculous signs and wonders performed by the power of the Holy Spirit. Now let me introduce a few examples.
1) The blind come to see
In June 2002 a marvelous miracle occurred in Honduras, Central America. A girl recovered her eyesight in 10 years of loss of her sight. When she was 2 years old, she lost her sight on the left eye and was operated on to receive a cornea transplant. But unfortunately the transplant operation failed and since then she had been blind for 10 years. Through my prayer, she began to see.
2) The lame come to walk
Another outstanding miracle took place at the 2002 India crusade. A 14-year-old boy Ganesh suffered from encysted tumor of pelvis bone. At the operation on it, his one pelvis bone and hip joint were taken away. Doctors put metal in the dented part and vaulted up the metal linking the thighbone and pelvis. But he had to feel deadly severe pain whenever he moved and rely on two crutches even to move a step. When he attended the healing meeting and received my prayer, all the pain instantly disappeared. Now he can walk and run freely without crutches. Besides, he can enjoy playing his favorite sport, cricket.
In April, 2003, a woman in wheelchair visited me when I stayed at a hotel in Dubai. She could not move even a finger properly because of severe accident after-effect. It was beyond belief for her to walk by herself. But when I prayed for her, she immediately got up from her wheelchair and began to walk.
3) The power of God makes the dead live again.
Years ago, an elder attending other church was ill in cerebral apoplexy, and had no possibility of recovery. When I prayed for him, God gave him life again. Now he enjoys a Christian life as a member of my church.
In 2001, a surprising miracle happened during the 2001 Philippines Crusade. One man among the congregation was brought to me because he fell down suddenly and became paralyzed. He had neither consciousness nor breath. However, as soon as I laid my hand on him and prayed for him, he came to sense and got up.
4) AIDS victims are healed
I have seen the healings of AIDS in many countries including Uganda, Kenya, the Philippines, India, Honduras, Peru, and Russia. At the 2002 Honduras Crusade, a boy named Esteban Juninka, who had suffered AIDS since he was 8 months old, was healed and gave glory to God.
5) Extraordinary miracles performed with handkerchiefs
Acts 19: 11-12 say, "God was performing extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul, so that handkerchiefs or aprons were even carried from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out." Many pastors or church workers of Manmin Joong-ang Church perform extraordinary miracles with the handkerchiefs I laid my hands on. In August, 2004, a pastor took the handkerchief I had laid my hands on and conducted a crusade in the Philippines. A girl who had drawn her last 30 minutes before was brought to the pastor and when he prayed for her with the handkerchief, she was made alive again.
6) The power of the Holy Spirit transcends the limitation of space and time
Miracle healings happen even through my prayer recorded in sermon audiotapes, radio broadcast, and Internet broadcast. Healings happen when I just lay my hands on the photos and pray for them. So, every week a number of letters are delivered to me along with photos and petition for prayer, and I pray for them. Then, the testimonies of their healings are undoubtedly delivered to me.
7) The power of the Holy Spirit performs wonders
'Wonders' indicates God's works that changes the weather and performs miracles in the sky. In 2001, there happened two heavy typhoons in the Philippines just before our Philippines Crusade. The two typhoons were rushing toward the place of our crusade. But I courageously proclaimed. "Our God will surely change the direction of these typhoons or drive them out." Meantime one typhoon died away and the other changed its direction and went around our place.
8) Various rainbows appear by the power of the Holy Spirit
The Bible says that rainbow is the sign of the covenant of God and symbolizes the presence of God.
Members of Manmin Joong-ang Church see rainbows almost every day. God shows us various extraordinary rainbows. In particular, God shows circular rainbows surrounding the sun. And we have seen extraordinary rainbows like linear ones, symmetric ones, double-circular ones, triple-circular ones, four-folded circular ones, alphabet-typed ones, and so on.
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Today so many people deny God in the developed science and knowledge. Or they worship false gods but not the one true God. But God wants all people to gain salvation by knowing God and accepting Jesus as their Savior. I pray In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that you may live in the word of God and show evidences of God's presence with you so that you can lead countless souls to the path to salvation.
