It was issued on a monthly basis for the first two years and with the explosive growth of the church, it became a biweekly newspaper in 1991. On October 9, 1994, Manmin News published an 8-page special edition in celebration of its 12th anniversary. Since then, Manmin News became qualified as a powerful church newspaper. In the beginning, 4,000 copies were issued each month, but now 1,000,000 copies are being issued every two weeks, and it has become a global evangelical paper not only for Korean church members, but also for overseas members as well. In this information era, Manmin News can be read on the internet and is being translated into 13 languages including English, Chinese, Spanish, Russian, Tamil, French, Japanese, Indonesian, and Portuguese, and it is playing a big part in Manmin's overseas missions. In celebration of its 400th issue, Manmin News makes another fresh start with a new design. This change will meet the image of Manmin Church as it becoming a global church. Beginning with this issue, Manmin News will now be published on a weekly basis. With the increasing number of church members and the growing number of missions worldwide, the supply of news is on a higher demand.
