Volunteer to Decorate the Christmas Trees

* Members of each mission are working diligently for the Christmas Lighting Ceremony which will be held at 9:50 p.m. on Friday, December 11. Many volunteers are needed, especially for decorating the trees, which is done at night. The College Mission is in charge of the entrance to the main sanctuary; Young Adults' and Mary's Mission, the second sanctuary; Canaan Mission, the third sanctuary; Children's Sunday School, the fourth sanctuary; Students' Sunday School, the fifth sanctuary; and Paul's Mission is in charge of the sixth sanctuary.

Manmin Kindergarten Accepting New Children for the Class of 2010

* Manmin Kindergarten (the early childhood center at our church), is accepting children for the new class of 2010. The application process is on a first-come first-served basis, starting on December 1. Children between the ages of three and seven can apply to Manmin Kindergarten, which consists of the "Preschool Class" (for six year olds), the "Gifted Class" (for five year olds), the "Toddler Class" (for four year olds), and the "Early Toddler Class" (for two to three year olds). Aside from regular kindergarten programs, children attend "English Phonics" and "Musical Classes." And beginning next year, children can attend the "Chinese Character Class" and the "Chinese Language Class." You can receive and submit the application form at the Manmin Kindergarten office on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission Information for the United Holiness Seminary for 2010

* The admission period is from January 4 through February 23. There are 6 courses of study: Theology (4 years, day classes), Women's Ministry (2 years, day classes), Biblical Studies (2 years, day classes), Christian Education (2 years, day classes), Mission Studies (2 years, day classes), and Church Music (3 years, night classes). If you visit the website (seminary.manmin.or.kr), you can find more information about admissions, required documents, submission of applications, and the application process.

Assistant Teachers for the Children's Sunday School Are Always Needed

* Children's Sunday School is looking for assistant teachers. Each applicant must be a baptized member who has attended the church for over one year, and the applicant should be between the age of 19 to 60. Each class has a main teacher and an assistant teacher who helps the main teacher. After evaluation of their teaching ability and faithfulness for 3 months, applicants can be selected as a main teacher. The acceptance period for applications is ongoing, in order to train more teachers.
