Emotions and Ecstasy Displayed in the Beautiful Nature

From August 2nd to the 4th, the Men's Mission and Women's Missions held the 2010 Summer Retreat at the Muju Resort, Jeonbuk Province, South Korea, with the theme of "Spirit."
This retreat has been referred to as a 'worldwide summer retreat' because it was attended by not only the believers from Manmin Central Church and fifty-three domestic branch churches in Korea, but also by pastors, missionaries and believers from 18 nations including USA, UK, Canada, Israel, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Kenya, Singapore, Japan, Denmark, Indonesia, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines.
On the first day, Pastor Soojin Lee, President of the Pastors' Association, delivered a lecture with the title "Faith" based on Hebrews 11:6. In her message she stated her emphasis as: "Faith is the master key to receiving answers from God. In order to possess such a great faith as pleases God, you have to exactly measure your faith and discover your inner self, and then accomplish sanctification by getting rid of every form of evil."
During the morning of the second day athletic events were held and three teams—'Team Faith', 'Team Hope' and 'Team Love' competed in various events including Fill-the-Tower-Ball Toss, Group Jump Rope, Balloon-rolling, Tug-of-war, Card-overturning, Obstacle Race, and Relay Races.
Second night, Pastor Heejin Lee, President of Performing Arts Committee, delivered the message with the title "Flow of the Spirit" based on Psalm 104:1-5. In her message, she spoke about the love of God who allowed us to experience spiritual space and guided us to possess greater faith. After her message, her twin sister Pastor Heesun Lee, the Guidance Teacher of the Men's Mission and the Women's Mission, led the Prayer Meeting for the Fullness of the Holy Spirit, and the Campfire Worship Dance that was filled with the hope for Heaven and inspirational praises. At the campfire worship dance the people in attendance glorified God and determined to dedicate themselves to the Lord.
An Israeli pastor, Daniel Rozen, who ministers the Living Stone Church in Jerusalem of Israel, attended this summer retreat together with his family. He said, "My family and I have attended this Manmin Summer Retreat. It was more amazing and touching than to hear about it, and we renewed our spiritual strength. It's amazing to see swarms of dragonflies appearing and flying around us, and even sitting on our heads, hands, and bodies. We've never seen a more powerful retreat than this. I want to recommend this annual summer retreat to the countless people all over the world."
This summer retreat was filled with love and grace in the midst of the best of weather, the unity and fellowship of the believers transcending borders and races, and a myriad of dragonflies. Deaconess Okju Lee said, "I took my summer vacation to attend this summer retreat. Here, I have been able recharge my faith." Deaconess Sieun Kang from Cheju Manmin Church said, "We got on a ship at Cheju Island to attend this summer retreat, but this time due to the prayer of Dr. Jaerock Lee none of us had seasickness at all."
Senior Deaconess Kiyoko Tsuzuku from Japan said, "I've prepared for this 2010 summer retreat with fasting and prayer. God's great grace came upon me, and I became assured that I would become sanctified." A Malaysian sister-in-Christ testified to her healing of urinary incontinence, saying, "I've suffered from urinary incontinence after child-delivery, but was healed after submerging myself into Muan sweet water pool."

The 2010 Manmin Men's Mission and Women's Mission Summer Retreat was attended by about 6,000 people. Through the various programs it has been filled with God's love and grace.
