[Special Pictorial] We Have Tasted the Beauty and Peace of Heaven
On October 10, in celebration of the 28th anniversary of Manmin Central Church, the Performing Arts Committee of the church presented a beautiful and heaven-like performance with the gratitude for the grace of God. This celebration performance was held on a special stage with the title "Heaven: Banquet at the Sea." The praises that the Praise Archangel and angels offer to God the Trinity at the banquet in New Jerusalem and the joyous professions of those children of God who are invited to the banquet and offer thanks and glory to the Triune God were expressed with songs, dance and various performances by 440 performers including Praise Leader Rose Han, Brass Ensemble, Serem Korean Traditional Music Team, Artistic Dance Mission Team, Power Worship Team, Brother Sol Jin, Nissi Orchestra and the Joint Choir. The ending part of the performance was congregational praise led by Praise Leader Rose Han. Everyone in attendance was filled with the grace and love of God in the congregational praise. Many honored guests praised the event with emotion and joy, "I felt joy and peace like in Heaven," "It was so emotional that I shed tears without knowing," or "I felt singers and dancers offered God beautiful fragrance from the bottom of their hearts." On the church anniversary eve day, October 8, the church anniversary eve performance and GCN's 5th anniversary celebration were held with duet songs of Pastor Iris Kim and Sister Soyoung Lee, and multi-lingual praises by the Joint Singing Team—Hallelujah Praise Mission Team, Crystal Singers, and Sound of Light Chorus.
