Many students and church members are attentively listening to the message 'Keys to Studying Well' delivered by Senior Pastor Jaerock Lee. The messages of the series are useful for their studying, employment examinations, promotion examinations, but above all else, they are for the improvement of their faith.
At the start of this year, Dr. Jaerock Lee, Senior Pastor of Manmin Central Church, began to deliver of a series messages during the Sunday morning services titled 'Keys to Studying Well' based on the Scripture James 3:17-18 and Proverbs 9:10. During the first session of the message, Sr. Pastor Lee said, "We are living in the age where new information and knowledge are flooding into our daily lives. In order to keep up with the flow of time, you have to cultivate your abilities and improve your competitiveness. This message 'Keys to Studying Well' is useful in various aspects of your ministries and helpful in your faith. If you want to come forth as capable workers of the Lord, you should not only arm yourselves with knowledge and strength of the spirit but also be competent in the flesh as well." In addition to students and children learning how to apply these messages in their studies, many church members are also equipping themselves happier and more efficient ways to study the Word of God. This message series is expected to save members time and effort and also act as a guide to prosperity and success in both the faith and the daily lives of believers. Encouraged by this sermon, the Pastors' Association is actively campaigning in reading the Bible and summarizing each sermon. The Men's Mission is reading one chapter of the Bible, memorizing one verse of the Scripture, meditating on the sermons preached during Sunday services and reading books from our literary mission. The Canaan Mission is also reading the Bible and our literary mission's religious books and reviewing the sermons. Under the leadership of parish Pastor Hyeryeon Jo, members of the 15th parish are pursuing the competitive campaign, 'Become an Able Worker in the Era of Canaan Sanctuary.' They are competing with one another in reading the Bible, memorizing the verses, reading religious books, listening to sermons, attending Daniel Prayer Meeting, and taking care of souls. On a weekly basis the one who gains the highest points in all those aspects is awarded a prize. When interviewed, Pastor Jo was noted saying, "My parish members look so different than ever before because they are immersing themselves in spiritual things." Sunday Children's School is performing the campaign of 'Reading this month's recommended book authored by Dr. Jaerock Lee' so that children can gain the full knowledge and foundation in the basics of Christian faith. The children are also given bookmarks on which key verses are written so they can carry the bookmarks and verses with them all the time and memorize them. This message series by Dr. Jaerock Lee has been delivered twice before with a similar title. Many believers have testified that they've gained great benefits in their study, employment exams, promotion exams, and various examinations for qualification certificates. Deacon Hoyeoun Kim works for the Hyosung R&DB Labs. He said, "When I prepared to enter college, I followed the guidelines explained in the messages 'How to Study Well' and succeeded in entering the college I desired to. I did the same when I entered the graduate school and even when I prepared for the employment examination." Elder Joong-ik Chun, working for the Geumcheon Police Station, said, "When I kept this message in my mind, I came to have confidence in my study and won the first place in the promotion examination." Sister Somang Lee, sophomore at the Kookje College, said, "After listening to this message, I started to maintain good posture during the class and was able to concentrate on the class more attentively. I became faithful in review of each class and won scholarships." Brother Jaeyoon Kim, who had received the US President's award in 2010 from Barrack Obama, when interviewed said, "I applied the ways to study well explained in this message to my study and prayed to God, and then my understanding improved quickly." There are many more such testimonies that give God all the glory. Sister Yejin Lee, lives in the United States in the state of Maryland.
