There Is Something Special in Manmin Summer Retreat! Three Hundred Believers from 18 Countries Joined - The 2011 Summer Retreat Filled with the Holy Spirit, Spirituality, and Wonders
God's amazing grace is unfolded in the great nature. The Summer Retreats of Manmin Central Church started to be held, beginning with Children's Summer Bible School and Students' Sunday School's Summer Retreat in late July. Around 300 pastors and believers from eighteen nations including the U.S.A., Belgium, Kazakhstan, Israel, Singapore, Japan, the Philippines, and China participated.
Why do Manmin members long to take part in the Manmin Summer Retreat? This is because the spiritual word of God that plants faith in their hearts is preached and there are signs and wonders that confirm the power of the Word that take place. It is a great opportunity for them to increase their faith. The Word preached by speakers with spiritual authority and prayer that is filled with fullness of the Holy Spirit have served as spiritual nourishment for believers to allow for them to ride on the flow of the spirit.
The theme title of 2011 Summer Retreat is 'Trust' based on John 15:1-8. Many of the believers in attendance made up their minds to quickly come out as spiritual warriors by trusting in God, the Lord, and the shepherd.
Manmin's Summer Retreat is well known as an event which takes place under the protection of God. It has always been held in great weather without even the slightest accident. It is like the situation when the Israelites were protected in the land of Goshen while the ten plagues were brought on Egypt. When it rains heavily in the vicinity of the place of the Summer Retreat, it barely rains at all at the location where Manmin's Summer Retreat takes place.
In particular, a great number of dragonflies have appeared and gotten rid of mosquitoes and moths so attendees could experience spiritual space with no harmful insects.
Dragonflies sit gently on the attendees' hands, heads, and all over their bodies. The biblical wonders of seeing rainbows, stars moving, and various uniquely shaped clouds are experienced as well. They also witnessed the explosive works of the Holy Spirit through gorgeous and mysterious lights during the Summer Retreat.
In addition to these phenomena, they enjoyed a wonderful time renewing resolutions and fervently singing praises around the campfire. There were also athletic competitions where believers competed in good faith. Believers from overseas countries visited the Muan Sweet Water Site where salty sea water was changed into fresh sweet water by the power of God.
The president of the preparation committee of Six United Mission Summer Retreat stated, "Manmin members came to know where the level of their own faith was through the 2011 Cell Group Leaders' Seminar. And this Summer Retreat serves a good occasion to receive blessings which lead them to the level of spirit and whole spirit.
Manmin Summer Retreat, which takes place midsummer, becomes the heavenly banquet of Manmin members from both in Korea as well as members from abroad. By the grace and blessings of God it has become well known all around the world.
