On Sunday, February 18, 2007, the Founding Service at Kinshasa Manmin Church was offered to God with more than 500 church leaders and layman brothers, and sisters gathered in the capital city of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Following "The 2006 DR Congo Miracle Healing Festival with Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee" that took place with unprecedented support from government officials including President Joseph Kabila, Rev. Peter Kim was commissioned to DR Congo as missionary to Kinshasa where he founded a Manmin branch church. In the seven months since the first phase of ministry work, Kinshasa Manmin Church has grown to be a congregation of more than 200 faithful brothers and sisters and offered God the Founding Service in a makeshift structure.
