Good dragonflies from heaven delivering the love of God (In 2013 Manmin Summer Retreat in Deogyusan Resort, Muju)
"Dragonflies flew to me and sat gently on me" A dragonfly has two pairs of transparent wings and a pair of compound eyes. Each eye has about 28,000 separate lenses, which cause it to see all the way around it without turning its head. It can see moving things at 20m-distance and perceive things at 37m-distance at most. Such characteristics enable it to fly away when people approach it. It is an insect that is hard to catch. But an extraordinary work has happened to Manmin members from inside and outside of Korea this summer: dragonflies came and sat on them in a friendly way. The Bible says that as the Israelites were passing through the wilderness they ate manna and quail that came from heaven. Such a work has been proven to be completely reliable through dragonflies that came down from heaven and shared love with Manmin members.
A common remark made by most visitors to Manmin Central Church is that Manmin members brim over with joy and happiness. Why do you think the members are so joyous? Just like the Early Church written in Acts chapter 2, God has shown abundant signs, wonders, and powerful works to Manmin and the Manmin members are trying to resemble the Lord by praying and arming themselves with the Word. Furthermore, they are longing for the Lord's second coming with hope for resurrection; their shepherd is leading them to New Jerusalem, the best dwelling place in Heaven; and through his power they received whatever they asked. How could they not be happy! Meantime, in early August of 2013, Manmin Central Church held its Summer Retreat in Deogyusan Resort in Muju, Jeonbuk Province. The event was flooded with many powerful works manifested by Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer—the mute came to speak, the blind to see, and the lame to walk and jump. Out of a large number of testimony givers, this edition has a testimony of Deacon Jaesu Jeon aged 67 from Daegu Manmin Church. He was healed of pancreatic cancer!
"I used to be a gangster"
"I was leading a type of life that was a little unusual by belonging to a gangster group before I met the Lord. I ended up being imprisoned in Cheongsong Prison. One of the inmates who used to be notorious as a gangster told me to accept Jesus saying he also had accepted Him." After he was released he attended Daegu Manmin Church from July in 2004 in compliance with his cousin's persuasion. But he did not lead an enthusiastic Christian life. From a few years ago, however, he started to keep the Sabbath holy, give whole tithe, and live by the Word of God. Since then Dr. Lee has appeared in his dreams and encouraged him, which caused him to understand the love of God. But one day a splitting abdomen pain came to him. The medical test taken in July, 2013 showed that he had third-stage of pancreatic cancer. It dawned on him that it had been caused as the result of his sins that had inflicted pain and damage upon a number of people in the past.
After thorough repentance and the prayer…
He heard that Dr. Lee would preach in 2013 Manmin Summer Retreat in August 2013 and participated in it with a longing heart. 'Could a person like me be healed?' It flashed through his mind for a moment. But God's love towards him was so great and amazing. "I received Dr. Lee's prayer for the sick during the seminar on the first day. At that time I was able to feel the severe pain disappear. I went to the stage to testify to my healing but there were so many testimony givers. I had to return to my seat unable to give my testimony. That night Dr. Lee appeared in my dream and told me to open my mouth. I obeyed and he put his hand in my mouth."
Healed of pancreatic cancer through the power of God
He woke up from the dream and came to be sure about healing. He visited the hospital on August 12, 2013. His doctor said that the lump of cancer had become so small to say for what reason it existed. He was asked if he had taken any medicine. But he answered, "I did not take any medicine. I just attended Manmin Summer Retreat and received Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer and I was healed!" The doctor was astounded saying, "It is incredible that this kind of thing could happen". Deacon Jeon is now living his life with thanks to the good God who has given a new life and hope for New Jerusalem to him who was destined to die.
