WCDN hosted the 11th International Christian Medical Conference in Bulgaria in May of 2014. Through the interest and cooperation of many doctors, they glorified God more greatly as years went by (Pic. 1). Under the theme of "Medicine, Science & Spirituality", the 11th International Christian Medical Conference was conducted at the Sheraton Hotel in Sofia, Bulgaria's capital city, on the 9th and 10th of May, 2014.
This conference was covered by BNT1, the Bulgarian public TV station and broadcast live via the Internet in English and Spanish. The simultaneous interpretation service was offered in Bulgarian, English, Spanish, and Russian at the conference.
The news about the conference was reported by the international news agencies Reuters, AFP, and Business Wire, and Bloomberg Businessweek which is a U.S. weekly business magazine. In addition, it was made known all over Europe through many Italian, German, and French media networks.
At 8 A.M. on May 9, 2014, the Bulgarian Conference, hosted by WCDN (World Christian Doctors Network), commenced with praises by local praise singers. There were 240 medical professionals from 43 countries including U.S., Israel, Australia, Mexico, Kenya, and India. (We first announced 38 countries in attendance, but 5 more countries were confirmed later). Following the introduction of participants' countries, the Bulgarian national anthem was performed. Then, Dr. Kiril Svilenov, Chairperson of Organizing Committee of the Bulgarian Conference delivered the welcoming message and Dr. Gilbert Chae, President of WCDN, gave the message of greeting.
Dr. Jaerock Lee, Founder and Board Chairman of WCDN welcomed them with a video message. He said he felt sorry for the current generation since though disasters are overflowing very few people find and believe God and even believers are losing faith. He emphasized that to show the works of God tangibly is the most effective way of leading people to meet and experience God, accept Jesus Christ, and have true hope.
Then, various divine healing cases were presented that had been selected in advance verification. The divine healing cases of hemiplegia (Faroe Islands), Cholesteatoma (Korea), Acute Viral Meningoencephalitis with Coma (Armenia), Pre-eclampsia (Parkistan), and Posttraumatic Dystrophy (Netherlands) were presented with medical data on a big screen. After the presentations, participants freely asked questions.
WCDN directors of each country gathered after the conference on the first day and shared their visions in the ministry of WCDN. They also discussed the direction and development of the ministry.
WCDN is now headquartered in South Korea and performs its active ministry with 19 branches located in U.S., Russia, Italy, Israel, countries in Middle East, Kenya, Singapore, the Philippines, and Australia.
On the second day, there were case presentations on multiple fractures (Mexico), a catastrophic small bowel obstruction (Australia), restoring the heart, divine intervention (USA), Pneumothorax (Korea), and hematoma intraparenchymal temporooccipital (Venezuela). Dr. Gilbert Chae from Korea testified to Down syndrome healing cases by Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer, which caught great attention of people in attendance (more about this on Page 2).
At the end of the conference, the organizing committee members of the 2015 Malaysia Conference were introduced. The Bulgarian local organizing committee presented an appreciation plaque for Dr. Jaerock Lee, Founder of WCDN with their love.
Dr. Lyubka Tancheva (Bulgaria) gave a special speech on 'Old Myths and New Challenges in the Modern Neuroscience,' Dr. Frans J. Cronje (South Africa) presented 'Physical, Mental & Spiritual Health Study,' and Dr. Andre Gasiorowski (Israel) lectured on 'Verichip'.
Dr. Alvin Hwang (Korea) also delivered a special lecture on "Pneuma-Psycho-Somatology" subtitled with 'Separation of Spirit'. He presented evidential data that prove the spiritual realm. It drew great responses and served as a good opportunity to give a thought of men's origin that consists of spirit, soul, and body.
The Sound of Light Chorus of Manmin Performing Arts Committee opened the participants' hearts widely by performing beautiful and powerful dances and singing emotion-filled praises in local language and other many languages.
■ WCDN is an organization transcending denominations of international Christian doctors. They prove, based on concrete medical data, that diseases that are medically incurable are healed by the power of God.
