Jesus loves mankind so much that He was crucified on their behalf. But, because He was blameless and spotless He overcame death and resurrected. And, now He is still alive. He promised resurrection and eternal life to those who believe Him. The resurrection in Christianity means that those who were saved and then died will be revived and put on the resurrected body and live forever.
With this hope for and faith in resurrection, people can triumph over any kind of hardship. On April 5, 2015 Manmin Central Church had the Easter Service and Holy Communion, and it was broadcast all over the world via GCN. In Sunday Morning Service, Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee delivered the message "The Meaning of Resurrection" (John 14:6) and in Sunday Evening Service, "Blessings of Believers" (John 6:53-55). Then he led Holy Communion where the members engraved the grace and love of the Lord in their hearts.
The Women's Mission members decorated eggs with heart and gave them to members to celebrate Easter. From April 2nd to the 4th, they gave workers in public offices and companies near the church the decorated eggs to deliver a sense of the resurrection and love of the Lord.
Easter Sunday served as a good opportunity for the members to meditate on the love and mercy of God who never gives up making them His true children. We should remember the love of the Lord who obeyed God to redeem us from our sins, and the help of the Holy Spirit who leads us to the truth. It is expected that we will achieve the will of God—'Rejoice always, pray unceasingly, and give thanks in everything' (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
