Manmin Summer Retreat is a global festival that attracts many people who long for grace. In 2015, it was held from August 3 to 6 in Deogyusan Resort in Muju, Jeonbuk Province.
During the first night, Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee led the seminar based on Psalm 62:11. He said that true love is accompanied with deeds and truth, and God works today through signs, wonders, and powerful works and thereby shows His love. He told attendees to find the proofs of God's love during the retreat as if they were playing in a treasure hunt. He also said that they would see countless works of God through which nothing is impossible.
The Seminar was followed by the Divine Healing Meeting, where amazing works of God's power unfolded. The participants felt the love of God who wants His children to stay healthy and happy without diseases and to again realize His almightiness. Many people were healed of various diseases including cancer, shingles, cataracts, skin disease, diabetes, scalds, and bad eyesight. More than 20 deaf people from other countries were healed and gained their hearing.
Though a heat wave warning was in effect for the entire country, it was very cool with refreshing breezes that blew continuously keeping the temperature optimal. Beautiful circular rainbows, cross-shaped clouds, friendly dragonflies landing on the members and shooting stars allowed for attendees to feel the power and divine nature of God who created the heavens, the earth, and all things in them with great love for us.
In the Sports Day of the second day, although they spoke in different languages and were a mix of many different nationalities, everyone was joyfully united in the Lord. On the third night during the Camp Fire Worship & Praise all offered up thanks to God who gives them true peace and happiness that nothing on this earth can give. They were filled with earnest longing for the Lord's second coming and with hope for eternal life with Him in Heaven.
Manmin Summer Retreat 2015 was attended by people from 27 countries. The events were interpreted in ten languages. Let's give all thanks and glory to the faithful God who worked with explosive powerful works! Now let's recall the proofs of God's love through the testimonies of the members from both in and outside of Korea (continued on pages 3 & 4).
God's Love Shown in His Powerful Works
Manmin Summer Retreat is held during the first week of August every year. Many kinds of signs, wonders, and powerful works manifested in the retreat let the participants feel God's love and have more earnest hope for Heaven. On the first night of Retreat 2015, Dr. Jaerock Lee, the world-renowned revivalist, led Seminar and Divine Healing Meeting. Many people were healed of their diseases and received answers. Here are some testimonies.
"My Paralyzed Leg Became Normal! I can walk!"

Thirty years ago, I got lumbar spinal stenosis and it caused my left leg to be paralyzed. I could not walk well. But when I attended the Retreat 2015, I received the grace of thorough repentance during Dr. Jaerock Lee's Seminar. During the Divine Healing Meeting that followed, I received his prayer. Then my left leg became normal and I came to walk well. Hallelujah!
"I Was Healed of Shingles"

On July 30, 2015 I had shingles on the left side of my back. It caused me so much pain that I could not sleep. This pain lasted until the morning of August 3. I wanted to attend the retreat, so I received Dr. Lee's prayer for the sick recorded on the automated response system and sprayed Muan Sweet Water. Then the pain was gone. I also received his prayer on the first night and then I was completely healed.
"I Was Healed of Diabetes"

I had such high glucose levels that I had to have 35 units of insulin per day. After I came to Korea for the retreat, I did not take any insulin. But no abnormal symptoms happened to me. Moreover, I ate whatever I wanted, but I was fine. After I received Dr. Lee's prayer, I felt my body and heart becoming clean like cloudy weather became clear. I felt very good.
"I Was Set Free From Osteochondrosis after 53 Years!"

After childbirth, my joints were swollen and I felt pain. I had the affected parts cauterized with moxa but it didn't treat the symptoms completely. I could not bend my joints so I was in pain for a long time. But after I received Dr. Lee's prayer on the first night, I came to bend my knees and had no pain. I am finally free from osteochondrosis after 53 years of suffering.
"I Came to Hear and Received Healing of Breast Cancer"

I was born normal, but at the age of four, I became deaf after I hit my head. In September 2014, I began attending Manmin Central Church's services and Daniel Prayer Meeting via the Internet. I received Dr. Lee's prayer during the series, and two months later I found that I was healed of breast cancer. Furthermore, I started to hear. And during the Divine Healing Meeting in the retreat, I came to hear better and was able to discern people's voices and instrumental sounds.
"I Recovered Better Eyesight and My Fractured Wrist Became Normal"

I have suffered from astigmatism for the past five years. I could not read small letters and had to wear eye glasses. My right wrist was also fractured, so I suffered from pain when I bent my wrist. When I went to hospital, the doctor told me to have a surgery. Sometimes the pain spread to both my elbows and I could not move them freely. But after Dr. Lee's prayer I came to see well without glasses and the pain on my right wrist and both elbows was gone.
"I Was Healed of Comminuted Femoral Hip-joint Fractures"

On February 19, I fell from a place about two meters high and was diagnosed with comminuted (multiple) femoral hip-joint fractures. I was told that treatment would take six months. During the first three months, I used a walking aid. At the fourth month, I relied on a stick and still limped. Right before the retreat, I had severe pain and could not kneel down. I was having a hard time moving. But when I received Dr. Lee's prayer during Divine Healing Meeting, I felt a burning sensation throughout the affected parts and then came to walk without any pains!
"My Left Shoulder's Torn Ligament Became Normal"

A week before the retreat, I tore the ligament of my left shoulder while I was carrying something heavy. The hospital urged me to have a surgery. But I wanted to receive healing by faith in Manmin Summer Retreat. I prepared for it with longing and read The Message of the Cross in Vietnamese. During Divine Healing Meeting, I received Senior Pastor's Prayer. Then I felt something shooting on my shoulder. Afterwards, I tried raising my left arm and I had no pain and came to move freely. "I Can Walk without Crutches"

One day, I was going up to the rooftop on a ladder to pick peppers I had planted. Suddenly the ladder broke and I fell to the ground. I had severe pain on my both sides, and there was something like a hump on my right ankle bone. I could not stand up. And I had to use crutches. During the Divine Healing Meeting of the retreat, when I received Senior Pastor's prayer, my ankle bone felt very hot as if someone put hot red pepper powder on it. When I touched it, it was very hot. Afterwards, I came to walk without crutches.
"I Felt God's Presence Strongly"

During the retreat, it was very cool and nice. As we saw many dragonflies, we were filled with God's love. On the first night, a great number of people were healed and we felt God's presence with us very strongly. During Camp Fire Worship & Praise on the third night, we were so happy to feel His love. The church members moved in a very orderly manner. I was thankful that I am a member of the Manmin family.
"Manmin Was Full of God's Love"

Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee was with the members until all the events ended and I was moved by it, because it showed his sincerity. My wife had been healed of pneumonia and cholecystitis by his prayer transcending space and time. By participating in Summer Retreat 2015, we became more filled with God's love and we came to love Korea all the more due to Manmin.
