The solutions to all problems are included in the sixty six books of the Bible. God's children read it day and night and thereby gain true comfort and peace. Furthermore, they apply the message to their lives and learn the formula of answers and blessings. The believers experienced the works of the Holy Spirit when they came near through the Bible (from left, Brother Guy Preud-Homme, Deaconess Esther Wanziru, Deacon Jongsu Seo; from right top Deaconess Eunsil Lee, Brother Suresh Nectar, Senior Deaconess Hyunmi Kang)
The Bible is the love letter from God who is Light. It contains the way to eternal life, the key to solving all kinds of problems, and endless wisdom of life.
In 2016 as ever, Manmin members have been focused on the Bible to ride on the flow of whole spirit and become the key players in the third stage of take-off. Many of them have received blessings while reading the Bible and shared their testimonies.
Deaconess Eunsil Lee, age 44, Light and Salt Mission said, "In the Bible are written the success, failure, rise, and fall of the kings of Israel. While reading it, I felt God's warm love. Although they did wrong, when they repented, God forgave them and embraced them. He was full of love. I could cast off the fear that I had felt from my father and came to feel so thankful for the love of the Lord who saved me. And I also found out that I had served others but in arrogance. I thoroughly repented of it." She felt like she had started a new Christian life through the healing of her heart and repentance (Photo 4).
Brother Suresh Nectar, age 30, in Delhi Manmin Church, India had a dream. In his dream, Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee said, "Read the Old and New Testaments of the Bible." After he read it once, he was healed of having kidney stones through the handkerchief prayer (Acts 19:11-12). Now he is being devoted to the kingdom of God through translation work into Hindi in the church (Photo 5).
Many missions and groups have made their own Bible reading plans and tried to grow in faith together with other brothers and sisters. Senior Deaconess Hyunmi Kang, age 50, a member of Prayer Devotees' Association stated, "I felt so thrilled when I discovered the works in the Bible that are similar to the ministry of Manmin such as the spiritual spaces and the power of re-creation. When I read the part about New Jerusalem in Revelation, I was filled so fully with emotion." She also said that she received the power of prayer and healing of pain in her knee joints (Photo 6).
It is natural that Christians read the Bible, but by reading it the members have received healing, answers, blessings and they've experienced the love of God.
Deacon Jongsu Seo, age 56, Gwangju Manmin Church, was healed of pain in his eyes while reading the Bible and writing it down. He also was promoted in his workplace and his children have been renewed (Photo 3). While reading the Bible, Deaconess Esther Wanziru, age 55, was healed of pain and itchiness in her eyes, tearing and of back pain (Photo 2).
Brother Guy Preud-Homme, age 63, of Hainaut Manmin Church, Belgium (Photo 1) was healed of diabetes through the prayer of Dr. Lee. He reads the Bible before going to bed every night. He said, "I have experienced the similar situations to the contents of the Bible in my real life. By thinking of the Bible that I mediated on, I overcame them."
Many members read Dr. Lee's books that explain clearly the Bible for the readers to understand it better, and memorize the Bible verses. On the last page of the church's weekly bulletin are the Bible verses of the week. They have memorized one verse a day on the page and based on the verses, Bible Quiz Contest has been held since 2001.
The Word is God (John 1:1), and the Word is the sword of the Holy Spirit that Christians should have (Ephesians 6:17). In the Word, they should feel and meet God, and find His image and recover it. To overcome the world that is filled with sin and become the light and salt of the world, they should harbor the Word in their hearts.
