Exodus 15:25 recounts the work of God where bitter water at Marah was changed into sweet drinkable water. In March 2000, the same work took place through the space-and-time-transcending prayer of Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee. Through his prayer, the water from the sea in front of Muan Manmin Church located in Haeje-myeon Muan-gun, S. Korea, was turned into sweet drinkable water. It is Muan Sweet Water.
Muan Manmin Church was established on an off-lying island linked to the inland through a reclamation project. There was no potable water to drink. They dug a well and had access to ground water, but the water was too salty to drink. The church members started to pray remembering the work of God written in Exodus 15:25. God recognized their deeds of faith and accepted Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer. And He performed the powerful work transcending space and time.
Through the prayer, salty seawater changed into sweet drinkable water, and Muan Manmin Church's problem of water to drink was resolved. Moreover, when people used the water with faith, they could receive healing of their diseases and dying animals and plants came to life. They could also fulfill their hearts' desires (more on page 4). Afterwards, Muan Sweet Water Site was called the 'Site of Power'. It has been visited by many Christians from all areas of Korea and all over the world.
Pastor Myungsul Kim of Muan Manmin Church stated, "Many people visited Muan Sweet Water Site and had spiritual experiences having their spiritual eyes opened. Many were also healed of a long list of diseases. They were filled with emotion and said they were given faith and grace experiencing signs and wonders."
The 16th Anniversary Service and Celebration Performance were held
At 11 A.M. on March 3, Muan Sweet Water's 16th Anniversary Service and Celebration Performance in Muan Manmin Church in Korea's Muan, Jeonnam Province were offered.
The Speaker Pastor Dongcho Shin, Manager of United Holiness Church of Jesus Christ delivered the message titled 'Glory' based on John 13:32. The Crystal Singers and Sound of Light Chorus of the Performing Arts Committee presented a variety of performances and gave great joy and emotion to the attendees. It was attended by many guests from organizations and groups of Haeje-myeon Muan-gun and local people. Together they gave glory to God.
A mystifying aquarium where seawater fish and freshwater fish live together
In Manmin Central Church, Muan Sweet Water is available all the time. It is transported from Muan regularly. Also, there is a Muan Sweet Water Aquarium where seawater fish and freshwater fish co-exist (Photo: Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee praying in the opening ceremony).
Seawater fish and freshwater fish survive in different qualities of water. They can live only in the water with proper salt concentration. They also have different capabilities to react to the changing environment. Such conditions make it very hard for them to coexist in the same water. However, in the water tanks of Muan Sweet Water Aquarium there are 86 kinds of fish in total: 37 kinds of seawater fish such as angel fish, butterfly fish, surgeonfish, lionfish, blowfish and 49 kinds of freshwater fish such as arowana, tambaqui, cichlid, carp, and catfish.
Deacon Euitaek Kim, manager of Muan Sweet Water Management Committee stated, "Many marine experts and fish lovers came and were amazed by the management of the water and the fish's conditions in the Muan Sweet Water Aquarium. They said it is a 'dream-like fish tank'. There are some fish whose farming is very hard, but the conditions of the fish are very good and they are active."
US Food and Drug Administration proved Muan Sweet Water's safety and excellence
Muan Sweet Water was confirmed of its safety and excellence through experimental analysis and testing that were conducted by U.S. Food and Drug Administration. It is rich in minerals and calcium; the calcium content in particular is three times higher than a globally renowned spring water. In 2010, Muan Sweet Water gained the qualification to be exported to USA by passing all the additional tests of the FDA. In 2013, Muan Sweet Water trademark was registered in the US Patent and Trademark Office.
Dr. Seungsik Kim, Research Team of Muan Sweet Water Management Committee said, "Muan Sweet Water is very rich in minerals so it works for the healing of various diseases and for the growth of animals and plants."
