Led by the Women's Mission at Manmin Central Church in an effort to share the love of the Lord, the Seoul Region Women's Mission (Senior Deaconess Ha-Sun Kwon, President) held "The Sharing of the Kimchi Campaign." Between November 26-27, 2007, the Mission members pickled more than 3,000 heads of kimchi and distributed among less affluent families (mostly the elderly living in solitude and teenagers living as heads of the family) unable to pickle their own kimchi, a traditional and priceless side dish for Koreans, for the winter.
On Thursday, November 29, the Mission Members visited the Oh-ryu Soup Kitchen and presented it with kimchi, and Ms. Hwa-Ja Kim in charge of the Soup Kitchen expressed her gratitude to Manmin Central Church for sharing love year after year.
