Still less, the hearing on the left ear worsened due to the aftereffects of brain tumor surgery and I was diagnosed with hearing impairment at the end of 2023. Easter is one of the three major Christian feasts, and 'resurrection' means that even dead people who were saved will be transformed into resurrected body when the Lord comes again and live forever (Refer to page 3).
On March 27 2016, Manmin Central Church had its Easter Thanksgiving Service and Holy Communion 2016. The service was broadcast live via GCN. Dr. Jaerock Lee preached the message "Resurrection" both in Sunday Morning Service (John 14:6) and Sunday Evening Service (John 6:53-55). After the sermon in Sunday Evening Service, he led the Holy Communion. The church members had bread and grape juice which symbolize the Lord's flesh and blood. By doing so they gave thanks for the Lord's service and sacrifice.
Catechism and Baptism Ceremonies were held respectively on March 13 and 20. The church members spent the Passion Week mediating on the records of Four Gospels concerning Jesus' passion and resurrection. On Friday March 25, they fasted thinking of Jesus' sufferings on the cross, and during the second half of Friday All-night Service, they watched the Easter Performance rendered by Performing Arts Committee on a special stage in the main sanctuary. While watching they engraved the love of the Lord deep in their hearts.
On March 25, Women's Mission distributed beautifully decorated eggs to bring the joy of resurrection to companies near the church and government offices such as the senior welfare center, Guro Police Station, and Fire Station. On Sunday March 27, the church's small groups shared Easter eggs together and delivered the Lord's love to neighbors.
