Still less, the hearing on the left ear worsened due to the aftereffects of brain tumor surgery and I was diagnosed with hearing impairment at the end of 2023. As we usher in a new year filled with great expectations, we pray for God to fill each day with grace and hope in the infinite realm of blessings and for His light to be emanated on Manmin, like the sunlight that cuts into the darkness.
" The New Year's Service," on which we have finished 2007 strong and dedicated the first moments of 2008 to God, took place from 11 p.m. on Monday, December 31, 2007 to 4 a.m. on Tuesday, January 1, 2008. This service was carried live via the NSS-6 and Thaicom 5 satellites and on the Internet to Korea and the world. At the first part of this service Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee proclaimed a message titled " The End Time" (Matthew 24:3-14; 1 Peter 4:7), and at the second part each Manmin member recorded three of his prayer topics for Year 2008 and received Dr. Lee's benediction. And at the third part was a time of joy filled with praise, worship and musical performances by members of Manmin's Performing Arts Committee, and this New Year's Service ended with a time in which Manmin members gave to God precious offerings they prepared for the Canaan Sanctuary.
