Many of the foreigners who left their home countries and settled in Korea are said to be having problems due to cultural differences, diseases, and financial situations. But those of them who were guided to Manmin Central Church have solved their problems through the holiness gospel and the power of God and now are in true peace and happiness.
Overseas Parish Is United as One in Love
The Overseas Parish consists of the church members who came from ten countries and settled in Korea.
The Parish consists of six cells for those who are speaking English, French, Russian, Spanish, Japanese, Mongolian, Vietnamese, etc. The cell leaders learned Korean for a short while by the Lord's grace so they are recognized in their work places and help parish pastors through translation when they visit other members.
Since they have learned goodness and love through the holiness gospel, they came to have peaceful families although the divorce rate of multicultural families is high due to communication problems, cultural differences, and conflict between mother-in-laws and daughter-in-laws. Vietnamese Cell Leader Deaconess Riu, age 33, said, "Though living in a foreign country, I am happy because nothing is impossible in the Lord. My cell experienced revival last year and I received the 'Excellent Cell Leader Prize'. My husband's business is also full of blessings. And, my eye vision improved as I translated the sermons for interpretation.
The members are different in nationalities and races, but they feel the shepherd's love, so they help and take care of one another and become united as one with the love of the Early Church. Overseas Parish members dream to spread the holiness gospel in their home countries.
Chinese Parish Experienced God's Power and Eagerly Run towards Heaven
Chinese Parish is composed of two parishes: one consists of ethnic Chinese and the other of Chinese-Koreans. The parish has singers' teams and dancers' teams, so they are in charge of preliminary praise and special praise in their meetings.
They used to have a hard time in sick bodies and scarred hearts, but after being guided to Manmin they were healed of many diseases at once and received solutions to their problems. Now they are full of hope.
