"The Lord's Love Changed Us!" _ Manmin's Students Realized the True Value

In the world darkened with sin and evil, Manmin's students have realized the love of God from their hearts, and the fruit of change and thanksgiving have been borne in their lives. Their renewal brings smiles to everyone.

They have tried to stop playing computer/smart phone games and pursuing worldly pleasure. Instead, they worship in spirit and truth during services and study hard in school. They also try to find their future vision for the Lord and receive recognition from teachers and friends in school.

Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee has looked after their hearts and situations with much care. He has supported them by giving scholarships, charitable money, gift vouchers, and financial support for further study in private academies. He has interceded with tears for them not to conform to the world but to run towards New Jerusalem happily with hope. He invited them to his mountain prayer house in 2017 for the second time. They felt Heaven there and filled their hearts with hope for Heaven and love for the shepherd. It helped them cut off their attachment to the world and renew their hearts.

Brother Seungho Yim, 10th grader, who majors in trombone in school said, "I was admitted to Gyeonggi Arts High School thanks to Senior Pastor's constant support. He even gave me a scholarship this year. In his love, I have become a candidate member of Nissi Orchestra."

Brother Jaekwang Lee, 11th grader, said, "I was healed of atopic dermatitis when I received Senior Pastor's prayer at his mountain prayer house. I felt so thankful, and came to enjoy praising, attending services, and praying rather than playing games or thinking of friendships with the opposite-sex. I am happy to lead my Christian life and I am studying hard as well."

Sister Suyeon Choi, 11th grader, received MVP in the high school badminton match among students held at the prayer house. She stated, "I began to pray in the sanctuary after visiting the prayer house. The image of Senior Pastor kept coming to my mind when I prayed and made me pray with tears and heart."

In spring, 2016, students visited Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer house for the first time, and began to ride on the spiritual flow in earnest. More students joined the flow by participating in the Daniel Prayer Meeting and at the Students' Winter Retreat held in early 2017.

Brother Youngin Kim, 12th grader, said, "I used to go to church only on Sunday. My believing life was cold. But as I felt the Lord's love, I offered up five-day fasting to cast off untruthful elements from my heart. I am now offering 21-day vowed prayer to throw away changing mind."

Students memorize a verse of the Bible every day. By the lead of the Bible Verse Memorization Team, some students prepared for the church's Bible Quiz Contest and several advanced to the final. In addition, Pastor Changmin Kim, Principal of Students' Sunday School lead the Holy Spirit's Fullness Prayer Meeting for each grade every Sunday, and guidance pastors, financial directors, and teachers made sacrifices for students. In their devotion, students have been filled with the Spirit more and more.

Additionally, many students were healed of diseases by Dr. Lee's prayer. Brother Minjung Kim, 12th grader, testified, "I could not breathe and felt pressure as though something was compressing my chest. The test result said it was acute myocarditis. The disease causes sudden death among one out of three who have the disease. But I was healed of it by Senior Pastor's prayer. Since then, I have gained confidence in everything because I came to believe that nothing is impossible through the shepherd's power."

Sister Jihyun Baek, 11th grader, President of High School Students' Mission, set a good example and received the Exemplary Student Award in school. She commented on students' renewal, saying, "Many students used to come to church because of parents, but they now pray, praise, and worship in services with their hearts. Above all, they came to have hope for New Jerusalem. It is the place where we should go and we have gained hope for it."
