[8th Anniversary of Muan Sweet Water] Muan Sweet Water of God's Power

Manmin News   No. 115

March 30, 2008

According to World Health Organization (WHO), approximately 60% of all diseases in the world stem from unsanitary drinking water and it is estimated that the number of deaths from waterborne diseases is in the millions each year. Many are concerned that the shortage of water around the globe will be, along with AIDS and famine, will become the "Three Plagues of the 21st Century."
At such a critical juncture in history, the value of the Muan Sweet Water, whose safety and excellence have been recognized and attested to by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), is all the more significant. After undergoing tests as a "functional mineral beverage" on its level of minerals, acute oral toxicity, and heavy metals, on skin reaction, and insecticide residue, the Muan Sweet Water was found to meet all standards and rich of minerals necessary to the human body.
Muan Manmin Church, constantly visited and packed by visitors from Korea and the rest of the world wishing to experience God's power embedded in the Sweet Water, abounds with the works of God's power (Please see Page 4 for more).
On Thursday, March 6, the eighth anniversary of the Muan Sweet Water was commemorated with a "Thanksgiving Service" and celebrations at Muan Manmin Church (Rev. Myung-Sool Kim). The Service and celebrations magnified God who has given the Sweet Water.

Reproduction of Biblical Event: Bitter Water Turns Sweet at Muan

"Then he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree; and he threw it into the waters, and the waters became sweet" (Exodus 15:25a).

In Muan, Jeollanam-do (southeast Korea) is a site at which a Biblical event has taken place in modern times. Muan Manmin Church, seated on an island off the southeastern coast of Korea, had suffered for many years from the lack of reliable supply of potable water.
However, the same God who 3,500 years ago transformed the bitter water at Marah through Prophet Moses manifested the work of creation when He turned the bitter seawater at Muan into sweet, drinkable water at the beseeching of Muan Manmin members and Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer transcending time and space.
The bitter water that turned sweet at Marah was stationary but the sweet water at Muan is the result of continuous purification of the springs beneath the earth by God's power.

Jook Island Annexed to the Shore with a Levee

Jook Island on which Muan Manmin Church is seated used to be an island but was annexed to the inland when a levee was built. After the land reclamation, the northwest quarter of what had been the island is annexed to what was the original coastline and the rest of the land faces the ocean. Half of the land annexed to the original coastline is a field while the other half is a reservoir in the shape of a course of a river but this part of the inland does not face Jook Island. In other words, the island is separated about 10 meters (32.8 feet) by the field and on account of the floodgate built by the Association of the Land Reclamation, the end of the river is brine and this body of seawater faces Jook Island. Even in such a condition, only the underground water at Muan Manmin Church is potable while only the bitter seawater is obtained from the subterranean water in the vicinity.

Experiencing Marvelous Power of God through Muan Sweet Water

People who drink and apply the Muan Sweet Water by faith experience the restoration of their sight, the healing of a variety of diseases, the revival of plants, and the receiving of God's answers to the desires of their heart. In addition, to have a firsthand look and experience of the site of God's manifestation of power, many prominent individuals from abroad have visited Muan Manmin Church and magnified God after experiencing His power in their own ways.

Sweet Water Aquarium in which Fresh-water Fish and Saltwater Fish Dwell Together

From Biblical accounts, we can gather that in a condition in which fresh water and seawater were mixed during Noah's Flood, fresh-water fish and saltwater fish coexisted. With an exception to a few species of fish, the fundamentals of sciences dictate that no fresh-water fish can live in seawater and no saltwater fish can dwell in fresh water. Yet, just as the fresh-water fish and saltwater fish coexisted thousands of years ago during Noah's time, the same is taking place and witnessed even in our time.
On account of the differences in salinity, adaptability to the living environments, and other conditions vital to their survival, it is not easy for fresh-water fish and saltwater fish to coexist in the same environment. In the Sweet Water Aquarium, however, such fresh-water fish as carps, crucian carps, colossoma, and arowana, and such saltwater fish as butterfly, angel, surgeonfish, and goby dwell together. This is a reproduction of what happened in Noah's times and serves as an excellent example testifying to the infallibility of the Bible.
