About 5 years ago, I left the church and became lukewarm. Meanwhile I developed acute arthritis on the left knee and had difficulty climbing a building without an elevator. Still less, the hearing on the left ear worsened due to the aftereffects of brain tumor surgery and I was diagnosed with hearing impairment at the end of 2023. The camp fire was held on the 2nd night of the 2019 Manmin Summer Retreat at the Jumping Park of Deokyusan Resort, Muju. It was a time for the church members to profess their unchanging faith in the living God who works in the same way yesterday and today and forever. It began by a special song by the praise leader Rose Han. The main part was led by Pastor Soojin Lee, accompanied by Power Worship Dance Team, Sound of Light Chorus, and Crystal Singers. The 1st part was praises to lift up the name of the Lord Jesus who gave us true freedom through His sacrifice on the cross. There was also a video presentation of the church members whose lives were renewed after coming to our church, which was followed by the fireworks. Then, the Sound of Light Chorus and Crystal Singers sang the special song 'Happy Song'. The 2nd part was the praises to sing the grace of God who always protects us with the works of the Holy Spirit. They sang praises looking forward to the blessings God has in store for us and the great salvation of God that will go forth toward all peoples of the world.

I was greatly blessed in a pastor's seminar led by Pastor Soojin Lee in Israel 4 years ago. Since then, I came to have interest in Manmin's ministry. I searched and listened to the Senior Pastor Rev. Jaerock Lee's sermons on the Internet and read his books. I was captivated by the messages that I'd never heard before. Especially, The Measure of Faith, Heaven, and Hell sermon series were truly amazing. I came to have an earnest desire to visit Manmin Central Church in South Korea. This dream of mine came true by coming to the Summer Retreat. As I expected, the church was full of grace. I was very surprised by Daniel Prayer Meeting where thousands of people gather every night. I was amazed by the kindness and hospitality of the church members. The Summer Retreat was also an excellent event. I've never seen such a well-organized and high-level event. In the seminar the 1st night, I was astonished by so many people giving testimonies of divine healing. The Athletic Meet was exciting and fun as if watching Olympic Games. I was completely overwhelmed by the passionate praises toward the Lord in the camp fire. I give thanks to the Lord who let me know about this precious church.
