The 2022 Feast of Harvest celebration worship and the Holy Communion “In order to bear beautiful fruits that please God”
Our church held the Feast of the Harvest Sunday service and the Holy Communion on July 3, while it was broadcast live worldwide through GCN TV (www.gcntv.org). In the Sunday Morning Service, Senior Pastor Jaerock Lee’s video sermon entitled, ‘Power’(1 Thessalonians 5:23~24) was aired, and in the Evening Service, Acting Senior Pastor Dr. Soojin Lee preached a sermon entitled “The fruits that please God.”(Colossians 1:10-12; John 6:53-55) In the first part before the Holy Communion, Dr. Soojin Lee said, “In order to bear beautiful fruits that please God, we must circumcise our hearts and cultivate the soil of our hearts. We must receive advice, rebukes, or refinements with thanks to discover our own sins to remove and be changed. We have to wait patiently in faith without being shaken by circumstances and conditions.” And she prayed that all our hard work and perseverance would bear beautiful fruits that please God. The Holy Communion as the second part was officiated by Dr. Soojin Lee and many members from home and abroad attended online as well as in each chapel and local sanctuary. The members prepared bread and grape juice in advance that symbolize the flesh and blood of the Son of Man and attended the Holy Communion, remembering the Lord’s sacrifice and love of the cross.
