On Tuesday, December 27, 2005, the Manmin Volunteers' Brigade visited the southern parts of Korea left immobilized by a heavy snowstorm, and aided residents who faced a tremendous loss in property and farm produce. In Duksung-ri and Boonhyang-ri in Jangsung District of Southern Jeolla Province, the Manmin Service Corps put into practice the love of Our Lord by helping the residents with removing and reconstructing greenhouses and other facilities, and their service was reported by "The SBS 8 O'clock News" the following evening.
