On Sunday, November 16, 2008, Thanksgiving Sunday was celebrated to commemorate the Feast of Ingathering (also known as "Thanksgiving" one of the 3 seasons marked in the Bible (Exodus 34:22). In the Morning Service, Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee proclaimed a message entitled "A Prepared Vessel" (Luke 10:2) and a message titled "Gratitude" (John 6:53) in the Evening Service, during which he also officiated the Communion in commemoration of the body and the blood of Our Lord. For Thanksgiving Sunday, the Women's Mission gave glory and thanks to God by preparing in devotion a variety of grains, root and green vegetables, and fruit, and decorated the pulpits in the Main and other sanctuaries.
