"'The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,' says the LORD of hosts, 'and in this place I will give peace,' declares the LORD of hosts" (Haggai 2:9).
Through this church of Manmin, God has manifested powerful works unceasingly. Incredible works that are beyond people's imagination have been displayed more greatly and more amazingly year after year. From now on I will largely explain in three aspects the things concerning the glory of God who has been with Manmin for the past 34 years.
First of all, it is the glory that God Himself revealed to us.
John 11:40 says, "Jesus said to her, 'Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?'" As spoken, God Himself has revealed His glory to those of us who have relied on Him completely.
In the early times of this church, God performed fervent works according to my faith. People with all kinds of diseases recovered their health, the demon-possessed were set free, and critically ill patients who were sent to this church on stretchers were healed and became normal. At that time, many people in the market next to the church witnessed such miracles. When they saw sick people, they said "Go to Manmin Church" and spread the news about the church.
In February of 1983 I conducted the first revival meeting outside the church, and God performed an amazing sign. A woman who had not been able to walk and suffered from the aching pain in her joints for more than 10 years got up, jumped and walked by the Word and prayer. This news spread to neighboring villages in a short time and from the next day many more people attended. A woman who had been bent 90 degrees came to be normal and leprosy was cured. God not only performed healing works of diseases but also controlled aerial phenomena including weather on each church occasion.
On August 1, 1983 when we departed for the first summer retreat, such an occurrence happened. Heavy rain that was pouring down in the morning stopped instantly. He caused rain to stop and sent rain to finish a long drought. On numerous occasions He changed the course of typhoons and hurricanes or let them just die out.
On July 28, 1989, the typhoon, "Judy" was rushing toward our nation, South Korea, with great intensity. The force of the typhoon was so strong that it was expected to bring so much harm and loss. At that time, we were to leave for Summer Retreat the next week. I prayed with my church members to drive the typhoon away during Friday All-night Service. Then, from that time the strength of typhoon 'Judy' weakened a lot and the next day the news said it had died out with no serious harm in our area. This annual summer retreat has become a regular course of events in which we can meet and experience God who controls the weather.
Secondly, let me talk about the glory of God revealed through the shepherd of Manmin.
And, in John 14:12 Jesus promised, saying, "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father." From that time when I was called as a pastor I concentrated on the word and prayers and tried my best to receive strength and also power. As that result, even in my seminary student days, working of miracles occurred through me and I opened this church after receiving power. The power manifested at that time was in the level at which God guaranteed my prayer of faith.
In July of 2000, beginning with Uganda Crusade that was featured on CNN, a new dimension of powerful works began. In October of the same year, through the Pakistan Crusade, the holiness gospel and powerful works were spread in an Islamic country and God was greatly glorified.
In 2001, at the Kenya Crusade many kinds of diseases including AIDS were healed, and at the Philippine Crusade, Jesus Christ was declared in a Catholic country. In 2002, the Honduras Crusade swept across the Central and Southern Americas like a spiritual hurricane and the India Crusade was recorded as 'the best', 'the greatest', and 'the most' in the Indian Christian history. Countless souls were led to salvation.
In 2003, the gate of Middle East ministry was opened and through the Russian Crusade, the holy fire of the Spirit was set ablaze mightily in spirit and body in the frozen land. In 2004, through the Germany and Peru Crusades the nearly extinguished fire of the Holy Spirit was again set ablaze in Europe and Latin America.
In 2006, the Democratic Republic of Congo Crusade was successfully held under the support of the President and the government, and New York Crusade was a monumental event in New York, USA.
From the July of 2007, I performed the three-year Israeli ministry according to the word of Father. This enabled Christianity in Israel to gain strength and influenced orthodox Jews. The three-year Israeli ministry was concluded as the Israel Crusade in September of 2009. In the center of Jerusalem in Israel, Jesus was declared as the Messiah and Savior. It was a miraculous and historical hour.
We had such a long journey for 10 years and revealed the glory of God to all peoples of all nations in accordance with the church name of 'Manmin'.
God taught me how to control atmospheric phenomena on my own and let me put it into practice. This year He let me grasp how to harbor temperature in my heart and adjust it. It's because the controlling of temperature leads to the controlling of atmospheric pressure, humidity and wind and then naturally the controlling of weather. Even without wind but only with the controlling of temperature the pleasant weather can be given. With the controlling of temperature I can decide whether to let moist wind or dry wind blow. With the controlling of temperature I can create clouds or disperse them. Then, naturally I can let rain come down or let rain clouds go away. Even during the rainy season you don't have to be concerned about rain or typhoons.
The power of controlling temperature is surely necessary in accomplishing the providence of God in the end time of the ages. Natural disasters are frequently taking place in every corner of the world due to global warming. The influence of global warming is terribly serious. If I am able to control temperature at my will, I can prevent such natural disasters and moreover lessen and stop them. If a leader of a state or a country sends a prayer request to me with faith, it will be deemed as an action of faith by God and God will work. Thus, the Word of God written in Isaiah 60:3 "Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising" will be fulfilled through this church, Manmin.
Thirdly, it is the glory of God revealed through the flock of Manmin.
The providence for this end time of the age Father God intended to fulfill through Manmin is tremendously huge. Our Jesus didn't perform His ministry alone but seventy people and His twelve disciples accompanied Him (Matthew 10:1; Luke 10:1).
In this year 2016 and next year, the fruits of whole spirit will be enough to open wide the gate of the third stage of take-off. A lot of people will go out everywhere with the handkerchief I lay my hand on and preach the holiness gospel and manifest powerful works (Mark 16:20). Even though you are not to go into the world carrying the handkerchief of power, you can glorify God in any circumstance.
Just as a small ray of light is outstanding in a deep darkness, if you continually show good deeds unchangingly in this sin-filled world, God's glory will be surely revealed.
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, John 13:32 says, "…if God is glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself, and will glorify Him immediately." As said, I pray in the name of the Lord that you will give glory to Father God and receive and enjoy the glory He will give to you.
