 Dr. Lyubka Tancheva (WCDN Director, Bulgaria)
I was born into a family who attended the Eastern Orthodox Church in Bulgaria. My family was persecuted by communists and the atheistic government. At that time, I was conscious of God but I had not met Him personally yet. Afterwards, the communist regime collapsed and people were wandering with spiritual hunger. By the time, I heard the gospel from a colleague and accepted Jesus as the Savior.
Currently, I am a professor at the Institute of Neurobiology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and I am spreading God the Creator and the Lord.
WCDN, God-given present to me
One day in 2011, when I was a member of the academic exchange council, I got to know Pastor Daniel Rozen from Israel through one of my acquaintances.
We met for the first time in the WCDN's 8th International Christian Medical Conference held in Brisbane, Australia. WCDN (World Christian Doctors Network, www.wcdn.org) is an interdenominational organization that was established by Christian doctors in 2004 to verify the divine healing cases as the works of God based on medical data. The organization has conducted the International Christian Medical Conference annually with the title of 'Spirituality and Medicine' and has proven the authenticity of the Bible through various divine healing case presentations.
In fact, I had attended other Christian medical conferences, but the one hosted by WCDN was quite special. It was my first time to feel the presence of the Spirit so strongly while I was listening to the messages, divine healing case presentations, and the testimonies. I saw a variety of testimonies and amazing miracles that had been manifested by the powerful prayer of Dr. Jaerock Lee, Founder and Board Chairman of WCDN. It was quite amazing, and I felt happy about my attending the conference as one of its participants.
Back in Bulgaria, I shared the grace and emotion I had felt in the WCDN 8th conference with Pastor Ivan Hazarbassanov of Christian Center Sophia. Then, they came to have earnest vision and started the ministry of WCDN in Bulgaria.
I became filled with the Spirit through Dr. Jaerock Lee's ministry
My Christian life became more enthusiastic through the ministry of WCDN. I began reading Dr. Lee's books Heaven I & II, Hell, and his autobiography My Life My Faith that I had received in the Australia Conference. Reading his books, my life became full of grace and wisdom from above. I was filled with the Spirit. After that I became a big fan of Dr. Lee's books!
Now I am reading The Message of the Cross, which is the core of the gospel that spreads the true love of Jesus Christ. It was very spiritual and easy to understand, so I was spiritually and deeply touched by his books. Meantime, I came to realize the love of the cross ardently. It is the message necessary for all Christians.
In October, 2013, I paid a visit to Manmin Central Church in South Korea with a fluttering heart to witness the ministry of Manmin and experience signs, wonders, and the inspiration of the Spirit. The church members' Christian lives were quite astounding. I felt fullness of the Spirit and warmness that I had never felt in European churches. They consider one another valuable, have lovely conversations, and offer up worship services before the Lord with their hearts and minds.
I was also blessed to see Dr. Lee in person who has greatly achieved the world mission and held many overseas crusades. He was very humble and kind, which impressed me a lot. He asked me the current state of Christianity in Bulgaria. I told him the state of European Christianity that has lost the purity of the gospel unlike the past time in the early days. I added, "I am expecting many people to receive a lot of grace and be awakened through the Bulgaria Conference." Dr. Lee said he wanted to help, which was still vivid to me.
I hope the whole Balkans and Europe will be renewed by the power of God
In late October of 2013, I witnessed the amazing works of the Spirit manifested in Israel, the birthplace of the gospel. I attended Rev. Soojin Lee's Israel Crusade held in the International Convention Center, Haifa in Israel to gather the people's testimonies as a member of WCDN.
Many doctors from Palestine, Ukraine, the U.K., Bulgaria, and India as well as all areas of Israel joined the work. Rev. Lee's message was very impressive and the performances were wonderful. Above all, many people waited in line to testify to their healings. It truly amazed me. I was delighted to see healing works happen firsthand.
After Rev. Lee prayed for the sick with the handkerchief of power on which Dr. Jaerock Lee had prayed (Acts 19:11-12), people started to give their testimonies of healing such as healing of backache, knee pain, and pain in legs, recovery of bad eyesight and deafness, and curing of every kind of cancer and even epilepsy. They glorified God. Many kinds of testimonies were gathered in WCDN's booth. They were moments for me to enhance my vision to let the power of God known to people as a Christian.
Currently, as a director of WCDN Bulgaria branch, I am preparing for the 11th International Christian Medical Conference that will be held in Sophia in May, 2014. My heart is pounding because I am collecting medical data to prove that Jesus Christ is the most wonderful Doctor who can heal men's spirit, soul, and body. I pray that the fire of the Spirit will blaze up in the Balkan Peninsula and Europe.
