I Found the Most Biblical Church and Met My Role Model

I went to the United States with a vision for fulfilling my mission, but I felt a spiritual thirst and limitations.
I was born and raised in a wealthy family but I spiritually suffered in youth. But I was guided to church and accepted the Lord. Then I had a dream where many demons that had troubled me went out from me, and I was set free from all pains.
I met the living God this way. From that time on I liked to visit famous prayer houses and prayed fervently. Meantime, I harbored a vision in the Holy Spirit's inspiration to become a missionary.
In 1996, through my parents' help, I left for the United States to study theology. I completed a Master's Degree in pastoral theology at Berkeley Graduate Theological Union. In 2008, I was ordained as a pastor in an interdenominational church and served the church for seven years.
The church was located in San Francisco where spiritual battles are so fierce that it has areas for gays and lesbians. The pastor ministering to the church earned his doctoral degree in Germany. He enjoyed beer and he sang pop songs before his church members in karaoke.
There my spiritual thirst increased as time went by. I felt like there was not a spiritual mentor who I could trust and follow. To quench my thirst, I started to listen to famous pastors' messages online.
I listened to Dr. Jaerock Lee's sermons online and experienced the Holy Spirit's amazing works
Meantime, I happened to listen to Dr. Jaerock Lee's sermons. I shed tears and repented. I spiritually felt refreshed as if I had scrubbed off the dirt from my body.
From December 2013, I started to listen to the messages of Dr. Lee with my husband Missionary Daehyun Kyung and we repented. My husband said he wanted to be Dr. Lee's disciple.
Six months later, my husband had a dream, in which Dr. Lee appeared and straightened his tie saying, "You should be neatly dressed". My husband was amazed.
A few days later, we were having a stroll around our house. Then we discovered a circular rainbow surrounding the moon. It was a mysterious scene we had never seen before. We thought God was giving a sign that Dr. Lee's sermons are true.
In 2014, we watched the video of Dr. Lee's India United Crusade 2002 online. More than three million people in total were there and the Holy Spirit's fiery works were occurring. We were astounded to see such a work happening in these times we are living.
My parents-in-law, who went to Buddhist temples, were converted to Christianity through the sermon "The Message of the Cross"
We went to my parents-in-law in State of Colorado to let them know the Holy Spirit's amazing works that confirm God's Word.
They were Buddhists, but we showed them Dr. Lee's sermon series "The Message of the Cross" online and offered up services with them. During his sermon, many divine healing cases were presented such as a scalded woman's. My mother-in-law was moved and said, "There is such a good pastor in the world!"
During the fifth service with them, my mother-in-law talked about her dream. Fire came from the sky upon the statue of Buddha she served and it was split in half.
Afterwards, the temple they had gone to for 15 years failed and moved to another state. They finally burned Buddhist scriptures and rosary and accepted the Lord. Hallelujah!
In our Sabbatical year, we came to Korea and started a new life of sanctification
We listened to Dr. Lee's sermons for 2 years in the U.S. We realized many things and put them in our hearts. One of them is that Dr. Lee spent more days in fasting and praying with tears rather than eating and sleeping.
I asked myself how much I had loved souls as a pastor and thoroughly repented. As I prayed, my love for God and souls increased and hope for New Jerusalem came to me clearly.
One more thing I realized is about the direction of mission work. We must break out of humanistic church programs and we must first become sanctified. Only when we become sanctified can we receive the Holy Spirit's power and testify to Jesus Christ in the biblical ways.
I have prayed for a long time that I want to give the rest of my life for the world mission. Every time I prayed so, the Holy Spirit moved my heart letting me know that the Lord would come again shortly. And now I realized that the shortcut to achieving mission work is to achieve sanctification of my heart.
In the end, we made the decision in our hearts to go to Manmin Central Church in Korea. In February 2015, we came here. We have renewed our spirit with the Word and prayer and tried to be proper in God's sight.
Today many churches lost even a form of godliness. But, Manmin Central Church is the most biblical church where the power of godliness and the Holy Spirit's power abundantly take place. My husband and I as a missionary and as a pastor feel very happy about the fact that there is a true shepherd who we want to resemble and follow. We give all thanks and glory to God who has guided us in His great love.
