I learned about Manmin through Russia United Crusade held in 2003 (Photo 1). At that time, Russia had been unstable and chaotic, and Protestant churches had been split without a sense of unity. But the crusade caused them to become one. Unfortunately, however, there has been no such crusade in the country until now.
In Russia Crusade, I witnessed powerful works manifested by Dr. Lee. I vividly remember people glorifying God with their healing testimonies.
Since then, I have been interested in the ministry of Manmin. Lately I met Rev. Vladimir Osipov and heard about Dr. Lee's ministry of awakening the whole world including Russia with the holiness gospel. The ministry caused my heart to grow burning with fervor because we had longed to meet a pastor that preaches the holiness gospel and manifests the power of God. It is because we live in the end time when sins are rampant and churches do not even talk about holiness. We finally organized Churches' United Council under the name of All Nations.
In order to see and experience Manmin's ministry working with the holiness gospel and powerful works in person, we participated in Manmin Summer Retreat 2016. We had the knowledge of the holiness gospel by reading Dr. Lee's books and watching some video clips. We could feel how earnestly the Manmin members long to become sanctified and sacrifice themselves. We were really surprised when we saw the members praying every night in Daniel Prayer Meeting. We realized that this is how we apply the holiness gospel to our real lives, not just having it as knowledge.
Moreover, we received a lot of grace when we saw how much the members love God, the Lord, and the shepherd. Particularly, we were so moved by Dr. Lee's sincerity and love for God and his flock from little children to the elderly.
On the first night of Manmin Summer Retreat, so many people were healed all at once and they testified to their healing. When we arrived in Seoul, we experienced the scorching weather we had never experienced before, because it is not that hot even in summer in Russia. But amazingly it was not hot in the retreat venue, and it was just good for us to have the Seminar (Photo 2).
On the second day, the Athletic Meet was held. I was surprised and thought of how a church could organize such a systematic and well-organized event (Photo 3). I also felt the works of God in cool winds, clouds, and the temperature. The most amazing thing was the members' unity. No one showed discomfort. All of them looked happy and united as one in the grace of God.
I cannot express with mere words what I felt during Camp Fire Praise and Worship on the last day. The magnificent and big stage, the sound, the gorgeous firework, and the attendees' shouts of fervor were what I had never experienced before (Photo 4). Moreover, Dr. Lee led the praise himself though he is the Senior Pastor of this big church. I felt his humbleness and love.
On Wednesday afternoon, we went up to the mountain by gondola to see dragonflies and the beautiful nature. And we reached the top by walking around 600m. My legs got a little stiff since I do not usually work out, and I had indigestion and stomachache. But when I jumped and praised in Camp Fire Praise and Worship, my legs became normal. When Dr. Lee prayed for the sick in the middle, stomachache disappeared.
I will remember what I saw and learned and try more in order for the work of revival to happen all the more greatly through the holiness gospel in Russia. Hallelujah!
