Sister Benjing Setu, age 21, Colombia Manmin Church
In 2011, I went from Venezuela to Colombia to study. The following year my parents, who were in Venezuela, talked to me on the phone about Dr. Jaerock Lee of Manmin Central Church in Korea.
They received much grace via Enlace TV, a leading Christian TV in Latin America. They also watched his sermons on YouTube and the church's website. They read his books My Life My Faith; Spirit, Soul, and Body and Awaken, Israel! in Spanish as well.
In early 2013, I started to attend Colombia Manmin Church following their advice. My parents came to Colombia Manmin Church when it had special events, and by the prayer of the handkerchief on which Dr. Lee had prayed, my father was healed of aftereffects of tubinal cancer surgery and my mother was set free from pain in her legs (Acts 19:11-12).
Afterwards, I became fervent in leading my Christian life as well. I read Dr. Lee's books Awaken, Israel!; The Message of the Cross; Wisdom; Hell; Love Is the Fulfillment of the Law; My Life, My Faith; and Spirit, Soul, and Body.
In March 2016, I experienced a healing work. I had chest pain because I worked out too hard, and it made it hard for me to even breathe. I received the handkerchief prayer of Pastor David Jang before the Daniel Prayer Meeting. I felt my body becoming hot and then I was healed.
In July 2016, something that amazed my family happened. My brother, age 18, was renewed. He has attended a high school in the U.S. for the last two years. He loved to play video games from the time he was very little. He was into the games, so he did not talk with us and he was quite sarcastic about everything.
However, after he attended Colombia Manmin Church's 4th Anniversary Service led by Rev. Heesun Lee, the Manmin World Guidance Pastor, he was completely renewed. He became a totally new person. He said he liked Senior Pastor's sermons so much that he read sermon texts on the website and started to pray.
In August 2016, I attended the Manmin Summer Retreat. As I had heard before, many people were healed, dragonflies landed on me, and the temperature was controlled to produce the best conditions. When I experienced the works of God I felt so thankful. I felt the Father God's love and happiness. During Camp Fire Worship and Praise, I felt the shepherd's earnest heart of leading us to the best heavenly dwelling place, New Jerusalem. I was given a certain hope and strength that I would surely be renewed and enter New Jerusalem.
I am filled with the love of God, the Lord, and the shepherd. I give all thanks and glory to God who wants us to be happy all the time and helps us always.
