"I Was Healed of Shingles Quickly by Senior Pastor's Prayer"
On May 5, 2017, I got blisters on the left side of my lips. I had a chill and ached all over my body. On the morning of May 8, I had blisters from the left side of lips to my cheek and scalp.
I was diagnosed with shingles and heard that I had even inflammation in my ear. I was so afraid that I took medicine and got an injection. But at night, I had pain in my gums and could not sleep due to pain that felt like something poking me with a gimlet.
On May 9, my wife Deaconess Keumsoon Lee advised me to repent of my past wrongdoings and said that she would pray for me with the handkerchief on which Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee had prayed (Acts 19:11-12). At the moment I knelt down in the living room, I shed endless stream of tears.
I looked back upon my past and repented thoroughly because I had not lived by the Word. My wife laid the handkerchief on my head and played Senior Pastor's prayer for the sick recorded on the telephone Automated Response System. Then, a chill was gone and pain was relieved.
On May 10, I watched GCN all day. After every Senior Pastor's sermon, I received his prayer for the sick. In the evening, I went to bed early and the next morning when I woke up, I felt no pain on my face at all.
I ran to the restroom, checked myself in the mirror, and shouted with joy. The blisters turned into dark scabs, swelling of my face subsided, and I had no pain. I was so happy that I cried shouting, "God worked on me!"
I went to hospital to check my healing. The doctor said, "You could have gotten in a big trouble. You were about to lose vision or hearing ability." I could see I was healed of it. I give all thanks and glory to God. I extend my thanks to Senior Pastor who prayed for me.
After he received the prayer, pain caused by shingles in the left side of his lips, his cheek, and his scalp was gone, swelling subsided, and scabs covered the affected parts.
