“I was healed of depression, insomnia and social phobia!”

I used to go to a Buddhist temple persistently for 42 years. My house had various protective charms and blessing talismans here and there. My parents-in-law also worshipped idols and my marital life was so tough.
As time passed, my father-in-law passed away and his spirit often appeared in my dreams and tried to strike me with a baton. My two sisters-in-law died early from coal gas poisoning, and my husband died of cancer, and they also tormented me in my dreams. I couldn’t sleep properly at night and developed insomnia. My whole body ached and I felt heavy so that I could not even get up in the morning.
I often lost my balance and fell down. One day, I had a serious accident at home and broke four ribs so that I had to be in hospital for a month. My life was so difficult and painful that I even developed depression and social phobia.
In 2024, I moved into my current home and met a neighbor, Senior Deaconess Wooyoung Lee. She preached the gospel saying that if I met the living God, I would be able to be healed of all my illnesses and live a happy life. I made a promise to go to her church once. On October 6, 2024, I went to the church and it was the 42nd anniversary of Manmin Central Church.
In the service, Senior Pastor Soojin Lee gave an impressive message, and the anniversary celebration performance was so great and beautiful. I felt like I were in a new world. After that, I went to a local sanctuary in Ilsan, Goyang City along with Senior Deaconess Lee every Sunday. I cleaned up all the charms and talismans, Buddha drawings, and everything related to Buddhism from my home.
Instead, I hung up a church calendar and installed GCN (Global Christian Network) application in my smartphone and TV monitor. I attended Wednesday Service, Friday All-night Service, and Daniel Prayer Meetings via GCN TV. After that, I stopped having odd dreams. The spirits of my father-in-law, sisters-in-law, and husband who had bothered me for long no longer appeared, and I had comfortable nights. In addition, I have never fallen down once again and my heart is always in peace.
In 2019, I came across a car accident and had a surgery to insert an artificial bone in my pelvis. After that I went through its aftereffects and had to go to an oriental medicine clinic two or three times a week to get acupuncture and physical therapy. However, it changed after I started my religious life in Christ. The number of hospital visits gradually decreased, and 5 months later, I didn’t need to go to hospital. Since then I have felt comfortable without any medical treatment.
By the way, I hurt my right knee and went to the hospital. The doctor recommended surgery saying my cartilage had worn out. I couldn’t make a decision easily. On Wednesday, November 27 of 2024, I attended a Wednesday evening service on GCN TV and stayed tuned for GCN programs. Senior Pastor Soojin Lee was leading a Daniel Prayer Meeting for the fullness of the Holy Spirit in preparation of a Divine Healing Meeting.
As I listened to her prayer, tears and a runny nose started to flow, and my whole body became hot. I said to myself, “What’s happening to me?” And I prayed with emotion until the end. From the next day on, to my surprise, the ‘tapping’ sound from my knee disappeared, and the tingling and numbness pain was completely gone. Now, while sitting down and standing up, I have neither pain nor discomfort at all.
Senior Pastor Soojin Lee taught us to hold both the hands together, tighten our stomach, and to cry out earnestly in prayers, and I kept it in my mind and practiced always. After that, I felt refreshed and relieved a little more. Her sermons in every Sunday service are true and persuasive.
Sometimes I have a meeting with my old friends, and they say in surprise that I have a bright and pretty face. Then, I happily tell them that my life has changed since I started going to church. I give all thanks and glory to God who healed and met me, and who is my Guide.
