I was healed of tinnitus!

One day in 2024, I suddenly started hearing a noise in both ears. At first, I considered it as a temporary thing and didn’t think much of it. But the sound didn’t go away and instead got louder.
Various noises, including the sounds of car or motorcycle engines, metal being cut, sewing machines, motors running, and whirring of dental equipment were vivid enough to hear as if the machines were actually running right next to my ears.
The sound didn’t stop though I closed my eyes and covered my ears, and it was a great pain in my daily life. It was especially clear when I was in a quiet place or late at night.
Eventually, I could hardly fall asleep without the help of alcohol. I was barely able to go to sleep every night, resulting in sleep deprivation. My concentration gradually declined, and my body and mind became exhausted.
I went to an ENT clinic and underwent various tests, and was diagnosed with tinnitus. The doctor prescribed medicine and said, “Tinnitus is not a disease that can be easily cured. Taking medicine does not guarantee your recovery.”
Still, I took the medication faithfully for over two months in an attempt to hold onto even a glimmer of hope. However, my symptoms did not get better and instead, they got worse.
On March 13, 2025, I encountered an amazing event, which was a turning point in my life. Pastor Deokbun Seo, 14th Parish Leader of Manmin Central Church, and a few others visited my house for evangelism. They told me about many cases of wonders, signs, and miracle healing works that occurred at Manmin Central Church, and prayed for me with the handkerchief of power (Acts 19:11-12).
It happened that night. When I went to bed, there was no sound of the sewing machine, the motor, and the dental machine that had tormented me every night. All the noise was completely gone and it was so quiet. Now I was able to sleep peacefully without drinking. Hallelujah!
I went to my friend in a hurry who lived in the same apartment and told her about this amazing event. “There must be something going on in the church they go to. Now I’m really free from the noises.” On March 16, my friend and I went to Bundang Local Sanctuary of the church and attended the service.
In her message, Pastor Soojin Lee emphasized the importance of goodness with the parable of ‘The Three Moves of Mencius’ Mother’ saying, “You must see with goodness and listen with goodness.” It was a great blessing to me, and since then, I have been attending Sunday services every week. I experience the living God through the Word and feel true peace in my heart.
I give all thanks and glory to God who healed me.
