For over ten years, I have been running a restaurant, working both in the kitchen and serving in the dining area. Standing all day and constantly moving without rest to attend to customers gradually began to take a toll on my body. At first, there were no particular problems. Rather, I was thankful that I was able to stay busy with my work. However, after several years, I began to feel pain in the soles of my feet. The pain was especially in the front part of my soles, but at first I did not think much of it, assuming it would soon get better. However, the pain did not go away easily. It improved at times and then returned again, continuing like that for over seven years. As time passed, the pain went beyond mere discomfort and became something that made daily life difficult. Especially from mid-December last year, the condition worsened even more. When I got up in the morning, I had to limp as I walked, and while serving in the dining area, I nearly fell several times. Each day was filled with pain, and I even began to feel afraid, wondering, “Can I continue doing this work?” The more it became difficult, the more earnestly I clung to God. Every morning, I prayed fervently before going to work, and whenever there were no customers, I listened to Senior Pastor’s sermons. During the Sunday service, I received prayer for the sick from Pastor Soojin Lee, trusting and relying on God for healing. Without giving up, I continued to pray and move forward in faith. Meanwhile, on Saturday, January 17, I attended the New Year gathering of the 2nd Great Grand Parish to which I belong and listened to Pastor Soojin Lee’s message. Her message greatly inspired me and gave me a deeper assurance that God was with me. After finishing the message, Pastor Soojin Lee offered a blessing prayer for everyone and greeted each attendee with a handshake. After the New Year gathering, I returned to my restaurant and worked as usual. That day was especially busy, and I spent it in a whirlwind. At first, I did not notice any change in my body. But after finishing work, a sudden thought came to me: “Huh? My feet don’t hurt today…?” At that moment, I realized that the pain which had tormented me for so long had disappeared. The same was true the next day. No matter how long I stood or how busily I moved, the soles of my feet did not hurt. The pain that had continued for over seven years was gone. Hallelujah! Through this entire process, I came to realize that God not only healed me through the prayer of Pastor Soojin Lee, but also granted blessings upon my business. My heart became filled with amazement and gratitude, and the anxiety and fear caused by the pain completely disappeared. Now, without any pain in the soles of my feet, I am able to move freely between the kitchen and the dining area as I work. In the past, it was so difficult just to endure each day, but now my working hours are joyful and happy. Each day is filled with gratitude and joy. I give all thanks and glory to God the Father who healed me.
