On May 23 I suddenly started to have pain on the left side of my body and red spots began to cover my belly and back. It felt like I was being stuck with needles. All of this turned out to be Herpes Zoster. The doctor said that it would last anywhere from two to four months, and that I should rest.
Herpes Zoster is a condition where, when the immune system is weak, dormant chicken pox viruses activate and attack nerve cells. This can be very dangerous to older people.
