The sanctuary that is pleasing to God is also a gateway to our blessing. The construction of the temple of God is closely related to the salvation of souls and brings us heavenly rewards and also is shortcut to receive blessing on earth. But God-pleasing sanctuary is not built just with abundant finances.
Construction of God-pleasing Sanctuary
King Solomon fully understood how pleasing to God and how blessed it is to construct the temple of God, so when he built the temple of God he made it the most beautiful by decorating everything in the temple with gold (1 Kings 6:20-22, 9:2-3). While the Israelites were passing through wildernesses after liberation from the bondage of Egypt, they brought the best things among what they possessed in order to make the tabernacle of God by the command of Moses (Exodus 36:2-7). When His children build the temple of God with the best things they have, God wants to receive their heart. The temple of God refers not only to the church, the body of Christ, but also to the hearts of the children of God where the Holy Spirit dwells. When we accept the Lord Jesus as our Savior, the Holy Spirit comes into our heart and dwells therein. And the Holy Spirit leads us to live by the truth and urges us to enter the kingdom of Heaven. Thus, the heart of the believers in Jesus Christ is the temple of God because the Holy Spirit dwells in it (1 Corinthians 3:16). Therefore, in order to build the temple that God desires and is pleased with, God's children whose souls are prosperous, have to build the holy temple of God with the fragrances of their hearts, sanctification and prayer in the midst of their longing hearts for the sanctuary.
The Tent of Meeting - While the Israelites were passing through desert, God let them build the portable dwelling place of the divine presence of God through Moses so that they could move anytime. It was also called the 'Tabernacle' which means the 'Tent of Meeting' and 'tent-sanctuary.' The Tabernacle is largely divided into two parts: the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies (Exodus 30:18, 20, 39:42, 40:2). The more detailed description of a "tabernacle" is as follows: an inner shrine (Holy of Holies, Exodus 26:33), the ark of testimony (Exodus 26:34), table for showbread (table of the bread of Presence, Exodus 25:30), the altar of incense (Exodus 30:27), an outer chamber (Holy Place, Exodus 26:33), the seven-branched lampstand (Exodus 30:27), the altar of burnt offering (Exodus 30:28), the laver of bronze (Exodus 30:28), and the stand (Exodus 25-28, 30, 36-39). The Tabernacle has the only entrance gate eastward (Exodus 27:13-16), which symbolizes Jesus Christ is the only door to salvation.
Solomon's Temple - In 967 BC, in the fourth year of his reign, King Solomon began building the temple of God and completed it 7 years later. When he dedicated the temple to God, the glory of the LORD of hosts filled the temple (2 Chronicles 7:1-3). King Solomon built the temple in accordance with the directions of God and decorated it with gold and jewels. The place where the temple of God was built is the same place where Abraham had offered his only son, Isaac, as a burnt offering at the Mount Moriah (Genesis 22:2), and God had appeared to David and David prepared a burnt offering on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite (2 Chronicles 3:1). At this same place, David offered a burnt offering when he was disciplined by God for numbering the people of Israel (1 Chronicles 21).
The Vision of the Grand Sanctuary
During his reign, King David prepared many things necessary to build the temple of God, but God stopped him from actually building it because David shed too much blood in warfare. Instead, God allowed for his son, Solomon, to build the temple of God. This tells us how important it is for the builders of the temple of God to be in accordance with the justice of God. Since its founding, Manmin Central Church has been commissioned to build the Grand Sanctuary at the end of the ages. God wants the Grand Sanctuary to be built by the believers of Manmin who have become sanctified and prepared as the beautiful brides without blemish and spot. Prior to building the Grand Sanctuary, God is refining and improving the faith of the believers through the process of the construction of the Canaan Sanctuary. It is because He wants every believer of the church to be the foundation of the Grand Sanctuary. The Grand Sanctuary is the symbol of the appearance of the glory of God, who dwells in the spiritual space, in the physical space. It will reveal the almighty power and majestic dignity of God and be recorded as the finest, the most magnificent and the largest sanctuary of God. It will be remembered as a symbolic ark of salvation where the fire of the Holy Spirit is aflame 24 hours, spiritual words are proclaimed, God's amazing miracles are manifested and many kings of the nations come toward God. And the Grand Sanctuary is the monument commemorating the completion of God's providence of human cultivation. The reason that God created and has been cultivating humankind is to gain true children. At the final period of the history of human cultivation many souls will come forth as God's true children by the works of the Holy Spirit and by their hands the Grand Sanctuary will be built. In this sense, the construction of the Grand Sanctuary means God has gained His true children, and when God sees the completion of the Grand Sanctuary, He will be comforted and delighted for all that He has endured and mourned during the history of the cultivation of mankind . God does everything according to the justice of God. The most important condition in the law of justice for the construction of the Grand Sanctuary is the sanctification of the builders. No matter how great the power and no matter how much wealth we have, if we are not spiritually qualified to build it, it cannot be built.
Accomplishing the Canaan Sanctuary of Blessing through Sanctification
The Old Testament asks them to circumcise the body and emphasizes the deeds of observing the Law, while the New Testament urges us to accomplish sanctification through the circumcision of our heart. From this standpoint, we have to build the temple of our heart worthy to enter the Canaan Sanctuary by throwing away all forms of evil and taking off all kinds of fleshly attributes that are filthy and foul (Ephesians 2:22). The Israelites were seriously defeated at the battle against the city of Ai after they had easily conquered the city of Jericho. It was because a man named Achan disobeyed the command of God and committed a sin. In this sense, none of us should think, "It doesn't matter in accomplishing the Canaan Sanctuary for me to commit such a little sin." Every one of us should please God with perfect faith and complete obedience, and sanctify our hearts and build the temple of our heart that is worthy to enter the Canaan Sanctuary. God wishes that every member of the church will become united in the name of Jesus Christ in accomplishing the Canaan Sanctuary. 'Becoming united in the Lord' means each member should obey the leader at his respective position and everyone has to achieve one goal with one heart in any circumstances and any situation. What God really wants us to do is for every of us to enjoy the glory of the Grand Sanctuary in the flow of the spirit without falling short of the goal. He really hopes all members of Manmin have a longing heart to enter the city of New Jerusalem and even the center of the city.
