What Did God the Origin Look Like? We hope you will understand God the Creator's providence and love embedded in human cultivation by knowing what God the Origin looked like before creation.
"The beginning" as in John 1:1 is well before "the beginning" found in Genesis 1:1. "The beginning" in Genesis 1:1 is the point in time when God began "the Creation." However, "the beginning" of John 1:1 is a point in time well before "the Creation." It is time that human beings are not able to comprehend.
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." (Genesis 1:1) "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1) "This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all." (1 John 1:5)
What did God, who existed all by Himself before all eternity, look like? Before He created the heavens and the earth, God the Origin was filling up the entire original universe in the form of light that contained sound. "The original universe" is different from the universe you see with your eyes now. The original universe is where God alone existed before "the Creation."
'Light' also means spiritual light, which is truth, goodness, and love, as opposed to 'darkness' which is untruth. At the same time, the original appearance of God is the Light. The Original Sound resounded from within the Original Light itself. Just as sound is heard as the wind blows, the Original Sound, together with the Original Light, also embraced the entire universe as it spread. The sound was remarkably clear, crisp, soft, and gentle. It was also magnificent as it echoed through the whole universe. This 'sound' is the 'Word' as mentioned in John 1:1. If the "Word' is the contents, 'God' is the name of It.
The Original Light contains the colors of the rainbow, and beautifully gorgeous. It appears that the lights ripple like a moving wave. Among the things that exist on earth, the most similar to the Original Light is the aurora. The auroras, sometimes called the 'northern and southern polar lights,' are natural light phenomena, usually observed in the sky of the Polar Regions. Auroras are produced by the collision of charged particles from Earth's magnetosphere. Their color varies in shades of red, blue, yellow, green, and pink. It is similar to unveiling a curtain of light color on the sky. It appears that lights flow like a ripping wave in the sky.
The Original Light of God is by far much more beautiful and it presents a much more brilliant light than the aurora. Countless numbers of lights are coming out at the same time, but they all softly flow as one throughout the whole universe.
God, who existed alone for an eternity of years, came to have a thought. He wanted to have another being who could feel the fullness of the things of the universe and who could share love together with Him. From the beginning, God had the characters of God and of a man. Better than enjoying all the things that belong to God by Himself, God wanted to share them with someone else. Then, a new work was planned in His heart. The new work was the work of Human Cultivation with the purpose of gaining true children. The plan contained the Creation of the heavens and the earth that would become the grounds for Human Cultivation.
What was the very first thing that God the Origin did in His plan for the Human Cultivation? After cohering as one light, God first divided Himself into three lights. The two newly divided lights are all the same as the Original Light.
The three lights, that is, God the Holy Father, God the Holy Son, and God the Holy Spirit put on spiritual form and together made the plan to accomplish the providence of the Human Cultivation. As farmers gather the wheat into the barn, God made plans to create human beings, let them multiply, gain countless souls who resemble God, and lead them to the heavenly kingdom. Even before the 'Creation' God had the entire design, structure, all material, and every method to create beings in His heart. God harbored the design and the structure of countless kinds of plants and animals in His heart. Once He gave forth the Word which involved the structure of each creature, clay and water obeyed and created them. However, He showed His special love for human beings by forming man by Himself.
"Then God said, 'Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.' God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." (Genesis 1:26-27)
'We' here refers to God the Holy Father, God the Holy Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We can understand that God the Creator put on a form of a man through this verse. It means we were created in the form of God not only on the outside, but also inside too, because the spirit, which is human's origin, is given by God and we were created as ones who resemble our Holy God the Father.

* Aurora Lights of Rainbow Color
"Then I noticed from the appearance of His loins and upward something like glowing metal that looked like fire all around within it, and from the appearance of His loins and downward I saw something like fire; and there was a radiance around Him. As the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance. Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell on my face and heard a voice speaking." (Ezekiel 1:27-28)
"And He who was sitting was like a jasper stone and a sardius in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald in appearance." (Revelation 4:3)
