During the year 2014, God gave Manmin the blessed message, "I Will Do It" based on John 14:13-14 and allowed us to reap abundant fruit through the works of re-creation (Genesis 1:3). Now let's talk about twelve of the landmark events of 2014 and glorify God!
1 Jan The sign of love, the boundless power changed the heart of Manmin!
While offering up New Year Service, Manmin members all over the world greeted the New Year's Day of 2014 and started the year with Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer. And during Lunar New Year's holidays, they were taught by the shepherd to achieve true hearts and perfect faith. As such, they began running in earnest to grow spiritually.
Consequently, eight people of whole spirit and 191 people of spirit have come forth as of December of 2014. They are fruit of the shepherd's sacrifice and love that have been shown for the last four years. The number is expected to increase, so hundreds of men of spirit and thousands of people on the rock of faith will accomplish God's providence with the shepherd and glorify God even more greatly than before.
2 Feb Manmin stood firm on the Word of God through reading the Bible
Dr. Lee emphasized that believers should read the Bible for spiritual growth. In obedience, they read at least one chapter of the Bible and memorize a verse every day. They confirm what they memorize by participating in the 'Bible Verse-memorizing Contest'.
In 2014, especially, as they were urged by the shepherd during Lunar New Year's holidays, they became more focused on reading the Bible. They read the 66 books of the Bible out loud and jotted down what the Words told them 'to do, not to do, to throw away, and to keep'. With the Words and through prayer, they cast off evil and replaced it with the truth. In doing so, they were filled with God's love and enjoyed blessings of soul's prosperity, healing, and answers.
3 Mar Profession, Dr. Lee's bestseller touched Manmin's hearts
With Easter around the corner, Dr. Lee's 92nd book Profession was published. This book delivered the love of God, the Lord, and the shepherd to the hearts of many people as well as Manmin.
The book contains the love of God towards humans; the confessions of forefathers of faith including the Lord's disciples, Mary Magdalene, and Apostle Paul; and the beautiful confessions of Dr. Lee, the author who misses God and the Lord and loves souls with his life. Profession was ranked as a Bestseller in the category of 'Religion' by the Kyobo Bookstore for six consecutive weeks. Moreover, its Simplified Chinese edition was issued at the requests of Chinese members. A popular mini-sized version of the book has also been printed.
4 Apr Manmin accomplished the standardization of spirit
The God of love has shown Manmin amazingly powerful works and given them the word of life since the church's opening so that they could grow in faith.
As the church entered the third stage of take-off in 2010, especially, God has allowed more rapid spiritual flow in return for the shepherd's sacrifice. From the year, Dr. Lee has taught the members the detailed ways to stand on the rock of faith (Romans 12:3), enter spirit (John 4:24), and whole spirit (Hebrews 10:22) and guided them to increase their faith more quickly. In April 2014, finally, many of the members came to possess the heart of spirit, which is the faith to love God exceedingly, and thereby the church achieved the standardization of spirit. On April 25, the men of spirit received Dr. Lee's prayer to gain strength from God.
5 May In WCDN Conference, The mystery of spirit, soul, and body was unraveled
The World Christian Doctors Network (WCDN) is an organization of Christian doctors around the world who want to support the powerful works of God with medical data. They gathered in Sofia, Bulgaria in May, 2014 and held the 11th International Conference. The conference was reported by various media such as Reuters, Agence France-Presse, Business Wire, and Bloomberg Businessweek.
This 2014 conference, in particular, presented a medical approach to the unseen spiritual realm as well as healing works in the visual world. It won a fervent response. The event revived the declining European Christian churches.
6 Jun Manmin's workers and members Came to understand the Shepherd's heart
In May 2014, God gave the members another chance to repent being touched by Dr. Lee's sacrifice, devotion, and love. Feeling his love for them, pastors, Levite workers, and all members came to strive all the more for achieving the providence of God with one heart again in June.
Through Reminiscence, GCN's documentary film on Dr. Lee's overseas crusades with testimonies, they engraved the true meaning of faith and the shepherd's deep love for souls.
7 Jul Manmin rode the flow of whole spirit, which is the ultimate goal of faith
By holding Leadership Seminar in 2011, Senior Pastor Dr. Lee explained the ways to stand on the rock of faith (Romans 12:3) and in 2012 he explained how to achieve the heart of spirit that is void of evil (John 4:24). In the 2013 and 2014 Seminars, he explained how persons of spirit fill deficiency and shortages and accomplish the heart of whole spirit that delights God.
The Seminar in 2014 was special and attended by many members from 23 countries including the U.S., Israel, France, and Kenya, and Manmin all over the world began a more fervent pursuit of the heart of whole spirit, which is Christians' ultimate goal (Hebrews 10:22).
8 Aug Manmin Summer Retreat was embroidered with love and power
Manmin Summer Retreat 2014 took place from August 4 to 7. On the first night during the Seminar, it kept raining softly. Dr. Lee delivered the message in the rain, and the members felt his great love for them and listened to his message attentively without moving.
The God of love was so pleased to see the members trust and love the shepherd that God blessed his prayer for the sick by healing many people of their diseases and infirmities. They also enjoyed the optimum weather in the Sports Day and became filled with greater hope for Heaven while praising with the shepherd in Camp Fire Worship & Praise.
9 Sep Manmin Kindergarten and Sunday School conducted implementation of gifted education
God allowed Manmin's children and students to be educated with various gifted programs so that they can grow up to be bright, healthy, and brilliant spiritual warriors.
Manmin Kindergarten (Director: Pastor Jaehee Hwang), Children's Sunday School (Principal: Pastor Hyunjin Kim), and Students' Sunday School (Principal: Pastor Jaejeong Lee) helped and guided children and students to develop their talents, set a goal, and achieve it.
They followed the teaching of Dr. Lee, who has unsparingly supported their education so that they can grow up well as God's children.
10 Oct Manmin's 32nd Anniversary Celebration Performance 'Invitation' & 3D video 'The Castle of the hepherd'
Manmin members feel as if they lived in the beauty of Heaven every day by listening to the messages of 'Heaven' that Dr. Lee received from God through countless prayers and fasting and by singing God-given Manmin Praise.
In 2014, more hope for Heaven was added to Manmin. At the church's 32nd Anniversary Celebration Performance the program 'Invitation' took the attendees, members, and GCN viewers to the banquet venue of New Jerusalem. They became full of love for God and hope for New Jerusalem. Furthermore, they came to feel more longing by watching 3D video depicting the space between the first and second floors of the main body of the shepherd's castle.
11 Nov Manmin performed its ministry with the word of life and the handkerchief of power
As handkerchiefs were carried from Apostle Paul's body to the sick and people were healed through them, many powerful works have also occurred around the world through the handkerchief that Dr. Lee had prayed upon (Acts 19:11-12).
In November 2014, Pastors' Seminars and Miracle Healing Crusades with the handkerchief were held in Pakistan, some other countries in Middle East, and in Israel. Many people in attendance were renewed by the word of life and healed of various diseases. Additionally, throughout 2014, many handkerchief healing meetings were held in Russia, the U.S., Belgium, Japan, countries in Latin America and Africa, and many branch and associate churches over the world.
12 Dec GCN launched a service on Channel 882 of KT Olleh TV
Beginning on the blessed Christmas Day 2014, GCN became available on channel 882 of KT Olleh TV to continue working as the gospel-oriented channel for all people of all nations.
GCN programs are now aired anywhere in South Korea through KT's large network without satellite dishes. Plus, even non-Christians now have access to the programs and chances to hear the holiness gospel and accept Jesus Christ. In particular, the channel broadcasts only HD programs so it has different listings from GCN's satellite channel's listings. Now more people can watch GCN's life-filled spiritual programs in full HD.
