"I have been interested in you. Would you work as my assistant?"
Heejin Shin, a sophomore at Kyung Hee University in Korea, unexpectedly received this call from her professor. And then a few days later she received the same offer from the professor of one of her elective classes. Through this opportunity, she'd receive full scholarships until her graduation and wouldn't have to worry about school fees or tuition.
"I didn't do anything special. I think everyone just looked at me positively."
In each of her classes, she sits in the front row and pays closest attention. So all of her professors speak well of her.
Dreaming of becoming a simultaneous interpreter, she faithfully attends worship services and Daniel prayer meetings and never forgets to pray before she studies.
"God, I cannot study well without Your help. Help me not to skip important things and help me glorify you with good grades."
Even now, she relies on God with prayer before she works on any of her projects. And while it's impossible not to be curious about the world, with a firm goal of giving glory to God, she continues to stay focused on studying at the English Language Academy.
