The 2010 General Assembly Has Begun!
The general assembly for each mission is being held and through the general assembly, new leaders who will carry out God's work in 2010 are being elected. The general assembly of Men's District Leaders, Men's Sub-District Leaders, Men's Cell Leaders and Women's District Leaders was held on November 8, Women's Sub-District Leaders' assembly on November 9, and Women's Cell Leaders' assembly will be held on November 16. And the general assembly for all the missions will be held on November 29, and each small group's assembly is held on December 6. A person who is to be elected as God's worker should have the eight following qualifications: first, to pray without ceasing; second, to keep the Lord's Day holy; third, to give whole tithes; fourth, to fight against sins to the point of shedding blood; fifth, to be faithful to all God's house with sacrifice and obedience; sixth, to be of virtue and love; seventh, to possess strong leadership skills; and eighth, to be humble. Those who are longing for God-given duties are preparing for the general assembly with prayer.
Overflowing Testimonies at the Divine Healing Meeting Led by Dr. Jaerock Lee
The Divine Healing Meeting was held in the main sanctuary of Manmn Central Church during the second part of the Friday All-Night Service on October 30. Divine Healing Meetings are held in the last week of every month during the second part of Friday All-Night Service. The Divine Healing Meeting is attended by not only Manmin members, but also people from all different parts of Korea and even from overseas to be healed of disease or receive answers to their heart's desires and prayers. Also at the last Divine Healing Meeting, many came up on the altar to testify about their healing, including Senior Deaconess Soonrae Kim, 55, who was healed of lumbago, and Wanhee Kim, who received healing from a hearing problem.
Especially heart-moving was the testimony of a woman, 42, a member of the Lord's Love Mission, was healed of depression caused by constant worries about her family members, as well as the case of melena, from which she had been suffering since last May. Also, her daughter was healed of swine flu through Senior Pastor's prayer recorded in the telephonic ARS (Automatic Response System).
Of the many members who were healed, only 15 people had the chance to give testimony on the altar, due to time constraints, having to end the meeting at least by 4 a.m. All those who received healing or answers to their prayers had broken the wall of sin by repenting and attended the Divine Healing Meeting with faith. Those people who want to receive the prayer for the sick from Dr. Jaerock Lee at the Divine Healing Meeting, should confirm their medical and spiritual condition from medical doctors and pastors in the Newcomers' Room between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on the day of the meeting and then attend the meeting.
