The Third Stage of Manmin's History Has Begun with 'Four Visions'
Dr. Jaerock Lee Proclaimed the Church's Visions for the Year 2010 at Annual Church General Assembly Meeting
Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee prays for the church and all brothers and sisters at the 2010 New Year's Service.
"From its founding until 1999 our church went through the first stage, we experienced revival upon revival during the second stage from 2000 to 2009. Now from 2010 is the beginning of the third stage, in which members will comprehensively reap according to their deeds and what they have sown so far." At the annual Church General Assembly held on December 27, 2009 Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee proclaimed the four visions that our church has to achieve in 2010. This year is the starting point of the third stage and it is the year of reaping. The prayer topics for the four visions are 'Flow of Spirit' (Deuteronomy 28:1), 'Measure of Faith' (1 John 2:12-14), 'God-pleasing Sanctuary' (Matthew 21:12-13) and 'Unceasing Power' (Joshua 10:12-14). The first of these, the 'Flow of Spirit', refers to the world situations that will flow in accordance with God's providence toward our church, and the fruit that will be revealed at an exact time within God's justice. While the world continuously suffers from wars, famine and earthquakes, and each country seeks its own benefits. This country, Korea, might face some difficulties as well. In this flow, our church will lay the groundwork for the Canaan Sanctuary and the Grand Sanctuary along with North Korean Mission and become an outstanding church above all nations accomplishing God's providence. The second, 'Measure of Faith' refers to the measure of faith that God wants members to accomplish through accurate and precise examination of their faith and realizing their weak points. To do this, we have to avoid negative words, pray to have a greater measure of faith, and demolish our frame works and our self-righteousness. When we show the deeds of paying back the grace and accumulate the deeds of goodness, anyone should be able to obtain the third level of faith and the higher, and finally be able to reach the perfect measure of faith. Thirdly, in regards to the topic of 'God-pleasing Sanctuary', he placed emphasis on sanctification of the Lord's servants and the church workers. This is because it is not just a building that God receives. While members are accomplishing the sanctuary, He will be receiving the aroma of their hearts. Therefore, in this New Year, all members should cast off flesh and fervently pray becoming one in heart. So, according to how much we accomplish sanctification, the Canaan Sanctuary and the Grand Sanctuary will be clearly revealed. Fourthly, 'Unceasing Power' means that the powerful works of God which surpass all human imagination won't cease and that we will continue to experience them. The power of God is very significant in spreading the gospel just as Jesus' disciples were confirmed by the signs that followed teaching the Word. In this year, God will lead numerous souls to reach salvation by manifesting a greater power of God than ever in our church. And Dr. Jaerock Lee urged the members during New Year's Service and the first Sunday Morning Service saying, "In this New Year 2010, which is the start of the third stage and the Year of Reaping, I hope all of you will be renewed by entering the flow of spirit, preparing your vessels and receiving comprehensive blessings."
2010 Opening Ceremony: "You have to receive power by accomplishing sanctification quickly"
At the beginning of the New Year, in Seoul, Korea, we had the heaviest snowfall since the nation started observing and recording snowfall back in 1937. We could feel the heart of God who earnestly finds His children who become sanctified like the snow covered the whole world. At 10 AM, on January 4, there was 2010 Opening Ceremony at the main sanctuary with 595 people attending including the Lord's servants from within and from outside of Korea and Levite workers. Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee delivered the message based on the Scripture Acts 1:8 that "The power of God is needed in many parts of the world. You have to receive power by accomplishing sanctification quickly and praying fervently." Also at the Closing Ceremony which was held on December 31, of this past year, Dr. Lee read together with attendees from Chapter 28 of Deuteronomy and had a time of thanksgiving for the blessing during the year. On this day, Dr. Jaerock Lee urged those who attended "To receive comprehensive blessings during the New Year 2010" and "to look back on ourselves" based on the messages including 'The Level of Goodness', 'The Beatitudes', 'Spiritual Love' and 'Nine Fruits of the Holy Spirit.'
