[Special] Interview with Dr. Jaerock Lee - Worldwide Ministry GCN Amidst God's Powerful Works and the Viewers' Love
Since its launch in 2005, GCN has grown very fast by the great works of God and the love of GCN viewers. We give all thanks and glory to God. GCN is presenting a signpost in opening the era of the 21st century's media mission. This issue of Manmin News is going to deal with special interviews with Dr. Jaerock Lee, Founder and Board Chairman of GCN, who has unsparingly supported GCN with love and prayers.
Q: With this 5th GCN anniversary, you seem to have special emotions. What is your impression of this 5th anniversary?
Dr. Lee: First of all, I'd like to give all thanks and glory to God the Father who has led GCN until this 5th anniversary. GCN is an international broadcasting network established to spread the gospel of the Lord to all peoples throughout the nations. The role of the broadcast-media ministry is so important in preaching the gospel to as many souls as possible. Through GCN programs, many souls have come to gain salvation and this fact brings the significance of broadcasting ministry to my mind. God told me to accomplish the broadcasting ministry in the end time of the world just shortly after opening the church. I can feel the will and providence of God in the broadcast ministry. I expect God's plans and providences will be fulfilled even more prosperously through GCN.
Q: GCN has broadcast many messages you have delivered to the world. Which message is the most memorable to you?
Dr. Lee: Every word of God is precious and to be remembered, but the most unforgettable is the message on the Seed of Life. When we are born, God sends into our heart the spirit harboring the seed of life in it. He plants the seed of life in the cell nucleus that is focal point of the body. When we accept Jesus Christ and receive the Holy Spirit, the seed of life sprouts. The seed of life's sprouting and growing depends on us. We have to devotionally endeavor to let the seed of life grow in our heart. Those believers who have tried their best to let the seed of life grow are bearing good fruits. Some members received blessing at their work places, and some others were healed of diseases. I wish for all of you to let the seed of life in you sprout and grow well so that you can come forth as a man of spirit and whole spirit and become filled with answers and blessings.
Q: GCN "The Power of God' has made great impressions on the viewers. Which of the programs do you think is the most impressive?
A: The GCN Travel Essay 'Letters from Rome in 2010' is dealt with in a two-session series. 'The 7th International Christian Medical Conference in Rome' hosted by WCDN drew the attention of many viewers. 'Dr. Jaerock Lee's Overseas Crusades' held in Africa, America, Europe and Asia, and the 3-year Israeli ministry and Israel united crusade with the theme '2009 International Multi-cultural Festival in Jerusalem' and many powerful testimonies of healing and life changes in Israel were filmed, compiled and broadcast during the weekly video presentation 'Manmin Magazine'. GCN also filmed 'This Is Your Day for a Miracle Conference' that was titled "Transformation". It was hosted by the Crystal Forum Association at ICC in Haifa in commemoration of the 2009 Israel United Crusade. The panoramic manifestation of God's power and various proofs of His love for the souls will not cease taking place all over the world.
Q: The 2010's top news on the praise programs was Manmin songs. What do you think the most outstanding characteristics are?
Dr. Lee: Manmin songs are received through the gift of revelation of God. The songs have pure and beautiful melodies and lyrics that are never imbued with worldly trends at all, and such pure songs are to be found nowhere else in the world. These songs have the power to purify the souls. As we sing these songs repeatedly, we can feel our hearts become clean and brighter. I wish for many more people to sing and change by these Manmin songs having the power of God in them. I hope these songs will be translated into all the languages of the globe and sung by everyone.
Q: What do you think of Manmin's vision of making the world our parish through GCN ministry?
Dr. Lee: There are so many souls who are waiting for the gospel of salvation. There are also many places that the holiness gospel has not reached. We have to be equipped with various qualifications in order to cover the whole world with the holiness gospel. Increasing the areas of receiving GCN-transmitting signals that are continually providing the holiness gospel for a myriad of viewers all over the world is so important in making the world our parish. We will network many more broadcasters and communicators to spread the holiness gospel to every corner of the earth. I'd like to urge the viewers to pray for and watch GCN with loving concerns.
Q: In closing could you do us a favor and share a word of love with the GCN viewers?
Dr. Lee: There are a lot of people who say there are many TV channels to watch, but there very few programs that are worth watching. It's because this world is full of violence and lawlessness, evils are becoming more rampant and many seductive programs are readily available to watch. However, the GCN-produced programs are filled with the truth and the life so that anyone―old, young, men and women―can watch and enjoy them. GCN will continue to produce and broadcast a higher quality of Christian programs concerning prayer, the Word, the power of God, praise and testimonies of faith and they will cover the earth with these biblical and evangelical programs. I want to ask all brothers and sisters of Manmin to participate in this broadcasting ministry with more concern and warm love. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I pray God the Father's love and grace be upon those who are walking with the Lord through GCN.
