The Explosive Power of God Was Manifested at the Handkerchief Healing Meetings in Thailand!

Acts 19:11-12 describes extraordinary miracles manifested through the handkerchiefs carried from the body of Apostle Paul. Similar miracles were performed in Thailand where the national religion is Buddhism. The mission team returning from the 7-day Thailand mission trip on February 17, 2011 told us, "Even unbelievers were healed at that very moment they received the handkerchief prayer and the explosive power of God transcending space and time took place."
On February 13, the mission team visited a hospital located in Chai Prakan. Many patients, who had already known Manmin Central Church through GCN (Global Christian Network), were waiting and longing to see them. A non-Christian woman, who had suffered from backache and pains in her legs, confessed that God Himself healed her. She found her pains disappeared right after the handkerchief prayer by Pastor Sungchil Lee.
On February 14, the Handkerchief Healing Meetings were held in seven non-evangelized highland areas of Chiang Dao under the auspices of Pastor Nongnuk (Eden Gold Manmin Church). There were 1,300 participants including the local representatives and the leaders of the areas. Most attendees, including unbelievers, were healed of various kinds of diseases such as general pains, disc disorders, cramp, paralysis, arthritis, and gastronomic disorders to name a few.
This mission trip showed us how the 'explosive power', one of the 2011 prayer points of Manmin Central Church, could work. Moreover, we could see that the local pastors and Christians had high hopes that they would understand Manmin's ministry better and cooperate with us through the broadcasting ministry of GCN and the ministries of Manmin News and Dr. Jaerock Lee's books translated in Thai.
In the meantime, Pastor Lee led the Establishing Service and the handkerchief healing meeting of Chiang Lai Manmin Church, ministered to by Missionary Jaewon Lee, on February 12. A host of pastors and Christians from the neighboring countries such as Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia attended the service and celebrated its establishment. "The power of God manifested in Manmin Central Church is crucial for people in Thailand", said a local pastor who runs Chiang Lai radio station. He talked about his plan to secure a channel of radio stations and spread the holiness gospel and the works of power. Last June, Chiang Lai Manmin Church held its Founding Service together with 13 brothers and sisters. Now, this church has come to have dozens of branch and associative churches which are expected to play key roles in the world evangelization.

In the Chiang Dao Handkerchief Healing Meeting on February 14 a couple asked for handkerchief-prayer for their daughter. Her name is Rosarin (15 years old, Photo 1-1~2). She had been suffering from damage to her organs and septicemia since last December. On January 12, she was told that she was not expected to live and had to prepare herself for her death. Her parents asked Pastor Nongnuk for the prayer as soon as possible that night. He prayed for her on the phone laying his one hand on TV screen while Dr. Jaerock Lee was praying for the sick on GCN. After the prayer, her condition improved considerably and she was moved from the intensive care ward to the general ward and discharged.
On February 15, when the mission team visited her home, she looked pale and sat without energy. Pastor Sungchil Lee talked to her about the love of God and faith, and then prayed for her with the handkerchief. At the very moment, her face came to look lively and she began to walk. As the mission team was departing, she was standing with a bright smile as she saw them off.
On the same day, the explosive power of the Holy Spirit was manifested again at the Handkerchief Healing Meeting in Bangkok Puracun Church. Wanchai is an 8-year old boy who has been mute since birth.
