Pastor Sooyeol Cho led the handkerchief healing meetings in the Manmin Deaf Churches in Thailand and Malaysia
Pastor Sooyeol Cho, Guidance Teacher of the Hearing-impaired Mission preached the message for the hearing-impaired in Hat Yai Manmin Deaf Church during its 2nd anniversary service. He also led handkerchief healing meetings at Manmin's five branch churches for the hearing-impaired founded in Thailand and Malaysia.
On May 1st, Pastor Cho delivered the message under the title of "God Is the One True Living God" taken from Romans 1:20 in the first meeting held in Phuket Manmin Deaf Church. Then, he prayed for the sick with the handkerchief of power (Acts 19:11-12).
Namcltai lost her sense of smell, but it was restored. Niko couldn't walk well, but she came to walk well. Among several other members who received healing were two female members Saiv Tin, who recovered better eyesight and Caddama Wchimbut, who was healed of atopic dermatitis. Many people gave glory to God with their healing testimonies.
On May 2nd, a handkerchief healing meeting was conducted in Surat Thani Manmin Deaf Church. After the video presentation entitled "The Power of God," Pastor Cho preached the message with the title of "Let's Become a Christian who Bears Fruit" based on Matthew 7:15-17. Then, he prayed for the sick with the handkerchief.
Manthani, a female member who had been deaf since her birth testified as follows: 'After the prayer of the handkerchief, I received the fire of the Holy Spirit and my body became hot. Then, I came to hear sound.' So the whole church was in a festive mood. Additionally, a male member, Charlo Ampol, had his tunnel vision was broadened and Jirisuni, a female member, was healed of her labored breathing and thyroid disease.
On May 6, Hat Yai Manmin Deaf Church had its 2nd anniversary service and a handkerchief healing meeting. The church members had prepared for the celebration performance by personally making the performance attire with all their hearts. Their performance added to joy of the anniversary!
Pastor Cho preached the message entitled "Why is Jesus Our Only Savior?" based on Acts 4:12 and prayed for the sick with the handkerchief. Chansunee Pornhuna testified she came to hear sounds that she couldn't hear before. Viyanach Kongnai recovered her eyesight after receiving the fire of the Spirit. Sukhon Sunsuwan testified that hard lumps on her breast disappeared. In addition to these testimonies, many healing testimonies followed.
In Trang Manmin Deaf Church on May 7, Pastor Cho delivered the message with the title of "God Works through Works of the Holy Spirit" based on Hebrews 13:8 and he prayed for the sick. Many people were healed of pain in head, eyes, shoulders, legs, arms and of prostate gland problems, pains caused by blood-flow disorders, and respiratory disorder.
On May 8, he went to Penang in Malaysia. He led handkerchief healing meetings and visited a few of the members' homes. It was the end of his mission trip. Giving glory to God, Pastor Cho said, "Different from any other churches for the hearing-impaired, Manmin branch churches give services in peace with all facilities equipped thanks to Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee's financial support. Because the members had prepared for the meetings with longing for God's power, Father God worked greatly."
These branch churches are ministered by Pastor Junghoon Chi, Vice Guidance Teacher of Hearing-impaired Mission in Manmin Central Church. After people received grace through Dr. Jaerock Lee's messages that Pastor Chi had spread online, Penang Manmin Deaf Church was founded in Malaysia for the first time in December, 2008.
Now the Manmin Deaf Churches have been established in Hat Yai, Trang, Surat Thani, and Phuket in Thailand; and Penang and Melaka in Malaysia. Other branch churches are to be founded in Kuala Lumpur, Atol, Ipoh, and Taiping in Malaysia and other countries neighboring Thailand like Vietnam.
When Pastor Sooyeol Cho prayed for the sick with the handkerchief of power, the deaf came to hear, the blind to see, and many people were healed of various diseases by the fiery works of the Holy Spirit.
