[A Visit to a Mission Group] Manmin Volunteers Brigade: An Indispensable Group of Service-minded People
Established in 1987, the Manmin Volunteers Brigade (Rev. Daehee Cho, Guidance Pastor; Deacon Eun-lae Jung, Commander) has been in charge of a variety service work in and around the church including traffic control, valet parking, transporting of the disabled, and sanctuary maintenance for the past two decades. Furthermore, in order to enable the rest of the congregation to worship in spirit and in truth, the Brigade has also been serving as ushers, with preparation of lunches, with dishwashing, and with attending to the church store. Within the Brigade are "The Hallelujah Volunteers," consisting of male adults; "The Hallelujah Sisters Volunteers," made up of sisters in Christ; "The Joshua Volunteers" with brothers in Christ; and "The Manmin Volunteers Mission" that includes the marching band, a dancing team, and a drum and fife band.
